    We really need to focus on putting the best players we have on the MLB roster ... Pitching is a strength and yes the defense and lack of offense is a weakness ... SWR is a solid fifth starter, Paddack is injury prone ( why aren't they handling him with kid gloves ) , with the surplus of pitching depth the FO should be actively pursuing a trade for offense production ...

    Best week in review coming at the expense of the white Sox and angels ... Now hopefully we can keep that momentum going on the road against Cleveland and Boston ... Keaschall being injured and out for a couple of months is the low light ... Cleveland tomorrow night , pound them and pound them hard ...

    On paper the twins were favored to win the division , can they win the division , perhaps but as the team looks now they are not a contender in the playoffs ... It all boils down to what the team can accomplish by the deadline and if FO fills the PROPER weaknesses in the team to turn the team into contenders ... It was a nice homestand , but the next test is Cleveland and Boston on the road , Baltimore and San Francisco at home , Baltimore is the only current team below 500 but by the time we play them they could be hitting on all cylinders ... Twins hopefully have momentum going to Cleveland , we had momentum going against Atlanta but floundered that into bring swept in Atlanta ...

    I tuned in late to see the seventh inning stretch , so I looked at the boss score and Ryan went seven and twins were up 4-0 , yippee skippee ... Nice to see Ryan go 7 with 11 strikeouts , and topa contributed with 2 innings of no hit ball ... Good pitching shuts out angels , nice ... Correa was 3 for 3 but then structvout , nice to see some contributions from Correa , we won without buxton ... Nice homestand against mediocre teams , 5-1 homestand ... Hopefully this will help motivate the team into winning , next test is Cleveland and Boston on the road and Baltimore and San Francisco at home , of the above mentioned , Baltimore is the only team below 500 and that could change by the time we play them ... Nice sweep , let play strong baseball tomorrow and the next day and the next , just pound your opponent into oblivion ... Go Twins , on paper your suppose to win the division ... The season starts in Cleveland ...

    You forgot Milton's no hitter in sept 11 1999 , he had the angels swinging missing , 13 strikeouts ... I didn't realize he had such a high career ERA , he seemed like a better pitcher than that stat ...

    Houston we still have a problem , how do we solve the problem of scoring runners with no outs ... Good game for Sim, and a win for the twins ... It did put me to sleep again for an afternoon nap ... In the standings the twins are distancing themselves between the white Sox for the cellar dwellers ... Colorado the worst team with only 4 wins ...

    Clemens pitched for detroit and Philadelphia , I suppose his stats weren't good enough to convert him full time to pitcher ... But he can play all around the infield and left field , typical versatile pick up for the twins ...

    Good report Seth ... Looking over the top 20 prospects on batting , a thought occurred , on a given day having all the position players in top 20 that played that day had at least 1 hit on the same day between st Paul and fort Myers prospects .... Today of the mentioned prospects , 4 did not have hits ...

    If we have a surplus of player's , they have to figure ( or guess right ) out who is part of the future and trade who isn't ... Fill a position of need , trading for a catcher is one example , I'd say 1st base but we might have that covered if management would get their heads out of their arse , Lewis for sure because he athletic enough and hopefully the bat can play there ... We have a excess of talent we can't play because we have the positions filled , trade , trade and trade for areas that are our weaknesses ...
