    The only choice in my opinion would be Byron would waive his no trade clause to go to Atlanta Braves and play for his home state , it would be the dream he envisioned as a youngster boy , just like envisioned me playing for the Twins ... If he was to be traded to an organization other than Atlanta Byron may ask the other team to write a new contract for him to waive the no trade clause ( that would be the smart play ) bargaining chip ... Yes the suitors would be enormous but again I think his first choice is to play for the Braves ...

    A start like Abel had is impressive , pitching was our strength until the deadline this year , then there was no bullpen ... Starting pitching looks to be a strength in 2026 if nobody is traded, Abel and Bradley Ober and a few others ( cant write lopez or ryan in because my gut just doesn't feel right ) , I'm sure Mr PBO is already on the phones with all clubs that Lopez and Ryan are available for the right price , let's hope not ... It's always nice to get a win against a good playoff team , SWR takes the mound for the last game of the season , let's hope he's good for 6 or 7 good innings for our last hurrah for 2025 ... Let's also hope that baldelli's rumor of his contract was picked up are false and we get a different voice , hes just worn out his welcome along with falvey too ... Also in 2026 I hope we get some clutch hitters that can drive in runs consistently and I hope the solo homeruns turn into something more than 1 run ... A combination of good pitching and runs scored will win games ...

    No clutch hitting AGAIN ... Sure hope buxton is in the 3rd spot in order so his rbi total can go up if healthy next season ...

    Yes funderburk has pitched well since the allstar game with a couple of clunkers , he had an awful start to the season and then was suffeling back and forth to AAA and I too was ready to give up on him , keeping him there in AAA ... Second season in arow for buxton going into off season healthy , I'll take that ... Ober has been better in past seasons , this season hasn't gone as well , let's hope he gets the necessary treatment on that hip and ready to have a better season in 2026 with some velocity ... Mahle is a free agent I think after the season ....

    Nice to win a series , Texas is a better team but like I stated yesterday they are beatable and the twins managed to prove me right ... Ober pitched a good 6 innings , for those that are concerned Ober will be a non tendered candidate , IMO the twins will Sign him ( and then possibly trade him ) , though his velocity is down he still pitches innings and they need pitchers to eat innings , Hendricks of cubbies and now with angels had success with the cubbies as a soft tosser .... Buxton leads the day with a 2 homer game and all 4 rbi's , great production from him today , glad it wasn't a rest day , Rocco usually keeps his best hitter out after a game like buxton has , but i seriously doubt it with only 3 games left ... Sure would like to beat the Phillies and finish the season strong ... Will be nice to see Bader and Duran playing ...

    The twins win a series , I stated yesterday that Texas was a better team but we're still very beatable ... The twins proved me right again ... Can I be Manager please ....

    Remember mickey tettelton for Oakland or Baltimore , big guy , stood straight in the box and hit lots of dingers , I'd like for wallner to change alot in his approach at the plate , it's terrible ...

    Buxton is having a nice season but it isn't all that hard to be leading all offense categories when the rest of the team is right around average ... Buxton is the man on the team , who wants to challenge him next year , lewis if he's healthy would be my guess , he's got the desire for it ..

    Will he even be on the team after the world series is over, for sure they will dfa him and then try and sign him to a hefty minor league contract off the 40 man roster , if that is the case I'm sure they will take a look at him in spring training but won't make the club and will have to earn his way back ... Another option is he goes somewhere else as a free agent for a change of scenery and signs a minor league contract for a west voast team ....

    They will keep Ober for an innings eater , no questions about his pitching velocity but he does seem to get people out ..
