    Of course a trade would never happen under any circumstances, but Hamels for Nolasco, Meyer, Stewart, and Escobar would be just fine with me.

    Not to nit pick, but hasn't Florimon convinced everyone he can only play short? Why do I remember reading that he isn't even considered for a backup role because he can't/won't/doesn't play elsewhere?

    Thanks for the explanation. I don't know if that means a different camera crew or not, but I keep getting fooled by the fly-outs. They look like bombs to me. Oh well.

    I'm not quite sure why mlb.tv has only the KC feed, yet I still have to listen to Bert. Any quick and dumbed down explanation?

    If the Twins do decide to trade Suzuki, I hope the return feels almost as good as the Capps/Ramos return felt for the Nats. There is some parallel there, just not a ton.

    I had that same thought recently. Watch his face/posture on plays where there is several options. Man, this season has been rough for him. If he could only consistently hit his LF flyballs 25-50 feet further,and ground out to second a little less, I wouldn't have arbitrarily studied his facial expression and posture in certain situations.

    Can someone shed light on what would be the disappointment in drafting Nola? I liked his numbers, stuff seems good (from reports), and he seems to be a fast mover with #2 upside and a higher floor than the Kolek's of the world. I'm all for Gordon or Nola, assuming the big 3 are off the board by the Twin's pick.

    Slightly off topic, but I purchased MLB.tv audio, watched a few of the free games, and was offered full season MLB.tv premium for 50% off. Sold. I live in Hawaii and found out that the blackout for me is all games vs. SEA, LAD, LAA, SD, SF, OAK. Thats a lot of blackout.

    The post mentioned most of his pitches being between 86 and 91, with 91 being the high. I think we can infer that his fastball wasn't a consistent 91. If 91 is the maximum and 81 is the minimum, I can see that being a problem. Now, if he was working that and touching 93 when needed, different story. But you still would like to see a curve (even a hard curve) drop below slider territory. Splitting hairs here, I suppose. If he went 4 and struck out 5 with no walks in the same parameters, nobody would have given this any thought. Just one more theory on what might be broken.

    Thanks for posting that. I'm not living on the mainland anymore and haven't been able to find definitively whether or not the (televised) spring games will be available on mlb.tv. Does anyone have any experience with mlb.tv during the spring?
