  1. I'm starting to feel about him the way I felt about Pelfrey. I don't get to watch a ton of games and I get really annoyed when I do and its a Gibson game.
  2. Rosario does not lay off that first pitch last year
  3. Gomes is grateful for the change in MLB rules re: collisions. Sano might win that battle.
  4. Glad to see Sano hit that 1-2 pitch. Looked like he was getting frustrated with the corner call(s)
  5. I was just looking at some numbers. Buxton has been striking out more that he probably should. Anyone else notice this?
  6. Really need a mistake pitch to Buxton. Sometime.
  7. Buxton: OBP trending in the right direction!!!
  8. Of course its nice to see the big bat on your favorite team go yard on a 3-0 pitch, but I can't say I like it overall. In fact, I absolutely love watching an opposing player make an out on 3-0.
  9. At least a couple times per year I choose to listen to Hawk. If the Twins are killing the Sox, listening to Hawk can truly be an amazing experience.
  10. You're listening to Hawk also? Congrats? Also, is this whole "Beat him arm side" thing new, or a horse he's been beating for a while?
  11. I imagine Sano will be seeing plenty of Shields' curveball if they face off again today.
  12. And a single that just barely bleeds through can turn into a double for him.
  13. Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm-Flailing Tubeman
  14. Absolutely. I'm not advocating for that position, I could just see someone arguing for it.
  15. It worked out today. I could see an argument for giving Santana another inning, for a quicker hook for Beslile, for calling on Duffey in the 9th. At least it isn't a series of unanimously dumb decisions that just happened to work out. Seems to have logic behind it.
  16. It's like he is playing OOTP with the L/R balancing. It's super fun to watch because its working. Also, it will be tough for Dozier to put up a stink if they ask hime to move off leadoff since literally every other regular is bouncing around the lineup.
  17. Hypothetically: If Kitzler goes down, does Duffy close? Pressly?
  18. Aaaanndd MLB.tv is down on three devices and 2 different wifi bands. All other internet activity is as normal.
  19. White Sox broadcasters sound a bit like Lanny Poffo (Stone) and Patrick Warburton (Benetti)
  20. I'm also in Portland, so the issue must be on my end. Which device are you using?
  21. Side note: mlb.tv stream is awful today for me. Anyone else?
  22. I think everyone agrees that Buxton, if he were a good at it, could be an absolute terror as a bunter. If he were good at it.
