  1. I think you could make a case that Milone has as much rope as anyone not named Santana. Mostly because of the hand he throws with.
  2. Having a second unit problem is far better than not even having a competent first unit, so I'm with you. What the Wolves need is something that should be attainable.
  3. That was a fun game to watch, the first unit is clearly something that is coming together in a special way. But we badly need some help on the second unit.
  4. Again, Milone didn't have to move. We could be rolling out Santana, Milone, Gibson, May, and Hughes if we wanted to. We didn't want to. That's really all it boils down to.
  5. Well, you could become a Berner. All you have to do is basically accept that he's the perfect candidate and worship him like some sort of political god and accept no criticism of him whatsoever. Then you can add a fourth option to your list! I, however, continue to be firmly in Camp Kodos.

  7. Guess it depends what you count as a supporting cast. I'll grant that Daredevil's group is far better than pretty much any of the Avengers, so he's got that going for him.
  8. The Joker alone pretty much destroys all those examples. Kingpin is a good character and Bullseye is alright, but for the most part it just pales. Then again, pretty much everyone pales in comparison to Batman for supporting cast.
  9. Chances are that he'd be just fine. Predicting who will or will not be an effective bullpen arm is not much of a science, it's more guesswork. In either case, we didn't have to remove Milone from the roster to put May in the rotation.
  10. You only have to "dump Milone" if you count what they did with May as "dumping May"
  11. He's made 25 freaking starts, this argument is so terrible. Let's dump Buxton too if we're going to use this kind of argument.
  12. This won't hurt Trump if more nad more agencies come out confirming elements of the story. Then Cruz is basically sunk.
  13. I know, Daredevil is just....so....boring. It's probably the relative lack of compelling side characters compared to Batman.
  14. I think this effectively makes certain that Trump is the nominee. He's not going to let this story just go away. Kasich can't even beat Rubio in some of the recent votes. He has no business continuing.
  15. The ump's handling of this was brilliant.
  16. Yes, you do. It took a relatively uninteresting character (for me), spliced him with some batman themes, and combined some excellent acting and story telling into an excellent show. I think you'll like it.
  17. There was a Washington Post reporter that confirmed two of the women. Breitbart is also confirming the story I think.
  18. I hate to wish anything on anyone's family, but the affairs angle would be something I'm happy to see come out. Ted Cruz is a scary dude, the sooner he's irrelevant politically the safer I'll feel.
  19. I'm glad to hear someone else finds Superman oppressingly boring. I love Batman, but that's not enough to get me to go see this. I'll give my money to movies I think are trying to tell a good story like Cap Civil War or Xmen Apocalypse.
  20. But, as you kind of admit, these are all self-imposed problems. The team should be having Santana, Hughes, Gibson, and May in the rotation and had a three way competition for the fifth spot. They chose instead to move one of their upside starters to the bullpen, admittedly as a temporary act. It's pretty rare for guys to effectively bounce back and forth, so either the team is deluding themselves about May going back or they are deliberately feeding Trevor May false hope. Either way, they created this problem with their own choices: infatuation with a lefty starter, non-spending/trading during the offseason on relievers, and over spending on mediocre starters in FA in the past. All of that has lead to a real wasted opportunity to utilize Trevor May in the best position to help this team - pitching more innings as a starter.
  21. We could use the same mentality in the rotation which, as you may know, pitches far more innings. This team cornered itself and people are rushing to justify it. Ugh.
  22. You may be right about the message being out more in states that haven't vited, I just find it unlikely he's converting anybody else at this point. And the super delegates would be fools to switch to a nominee that can't generate any traction with non-white voters.
  23. I just don't see it Brock, I don't see how it's advancing any further. I think Michigan was the peak.
  24. I don't see how on earth Hillary would be dumb enough to drop that issue on the national stage. Hell, even the Republicans are making that argument. It's not going away when Sanders goes away. Sanders supporters would go far further with their ideas if they shifted their funding and enthusiasm to senate and house races. If this was truly about the battle of ideas.
  25. My point is that whether he stays in or not his message has reached its peak. It's going no where regardless. There isn't anything more to be gained. I don't think he has any more influence at the convention than what he has already done to influence Clinton. Nothing he says from here on is going to sway Clinton any more to the left. As I said - I think he's reached the point at which there is no return on his investment in running - not personally, not nationally, not for his ideas. He probably peaked in Michigan. All politicians without a chance are bilking their supporters when they keep going out and telling them something that isn't true. And Sanders, like many politicians before him, is doing exactly that. He continues to say that he will win and it is absolutely influencing his supporters. There is absolutely a genuine belief that he can still win and it's being fed by Sanders himself who continues to state that he'll sway those super delegates when he sweeps through the rest of the primaries. Sorry, but this isn't some noble falling on the sword for ideas - politics almost never is.
