    I am impressed with this group, they don't quit and figure out a way to play up to the competition. However, that was not good baseball. There were several individual good performances but they were not from guys named Rocco or Bailey or Joey. That said, there is a vision. They are close to playing good baseball and when they do, they can be really good.

    It drives me nuts. I would bunt every hitter we have in that situation. Maybe you can let a high contact guy like Arreaz swing but his mission is to move the runner.

    The infatuation with over sensationalizing things is odd. Lots of musical instrument references for a situation with a lot of nuance. I already said I would have done nothing there and held my moves. Velazquez was at bat because Rocco wanted him there, not Bochy. We can argue if it was the right move which is obviously questionable but he did not get schooled, drummed, fiddled or otherwise manipulated. Also, knowing what we know now, using Gallo as the faux pinch hitter would have been much better. 🤣
