OK 👍 Maybe White Sox pitchers struck out 27. Watch mlb. The Sox aren't good defensively. Especially when it's so Important to you. You know. Like max. Greatest right fielder in mlb history. An 8-1 drubbing doesn't mean they filled the highlights with defensive gems. Maybe. I didn't see the game.
I agree with everything you say. Ober and Lopez are also under control for the next few years. That's a good start going forward. Then realistically there's Paddack who they hope can come back strong. That leaves only 1 maybe 2 slots to fill and I'm sure that's a main agenda for the FO. If the pitching pipeline delivers then they'd have an opportunity to fill voids elsewhere with those assets
I'm not sure. But it's pretty clear that Julien will stay upon Polancos return. Wallner will go back to st. Paul and then when Lewis comes back. I think that's where the thought is Buxton to the IL. I think that's an option but I'm more inclined to believe the decision will be something involving Gallo.
There is no coming infield logjam. It's real simple. Polanco 2nd Lewis 3rd Julien DH. Buxton with his continued futility is the issue. A buck sixty average over 3 months!!! I understand customer loyalty but you have to attach a buyer beware tag. The only other option is to DFA Gallo. Move Kiriloff to LF. Try Julien at 1st. Solano and Farmer continue in their roles
I was thinking similarly. Only my scenario was 2026. Hey while they're at it, the Twins might as well trade P. Lopez whom they extended earlier this season. Hed probably bring in a load of prospects too. Throw Ober in for good measure.
Couldn't agree more. I could forsee a move where they entice a Bochy type to come to Minnesota. No not LaRussa. Nah. Forget about it. Should have put the satire lead before the post.
