    The fact that it took close to 3 years for him to get playing well speaks volumes against him. He's been doing great. Where was that performance hiding? Under the I could care less Kepler. He's running harder on the bases and in the outfield. Not that tip toeing ballet dancer. If he played anywhere near the level he's playing at now, no one would have been calling for him to be traded or possibly released.

    My point on Hicks was it took 3 or 4 years to give up on him. Fans gave on him long before that.

    Oh like all that fan pressure Twins fan's put on management before the trade deadline. That spurred them into making all those big moves. Or Yankee fans who've been merciless on Hicks for 3 years that finally forced their hand.

    Fan pressure never influenced management with decision making. They can see the results too. The only time pressure might speed up a decision is a case like Trevor Bauer. And the Dodgers acted quickly
