  1. Jeffers. Played in 3 straight now. Twins have more runs off of a lefty in the 1st inning than they've scored all year. Maybe? Great start
  2. Give him the old pep talk angle. And his defense has won a handful of games at least. He's earned that chance. And he can still hit the high cheese
  3. About as brilliant as the statement of bringing someone in from the bullpen to play 2nd base
  4. Your bottle is low and your cheese has mold
  5. Not quite Stanton yet. Did you see Stanton get thrown out at the plate yesterday? If not, look it up. You'll see. Utterly ridiculous. No effort is bad, not caring is worse.
  6. The fact that it took close to 3 years for him to get playing well speaks volumes against him. He's been doing great. Where was that performance hiding? Under the I could care less Kepler. He's running harder on the bases and in the outfield. Not that tip toeing ballet dancer. If he played anywhere near the level he's playing at now, no one would have been calling for him to be traded or possibly released.
  7. Sweep. 1st sweep of the year vs an over .500 team. Go get the Tigers now.
  8. My point on Hicks was it took 3 or 4 years to give up on him. Fans gave on him long before that.
  9. Oh like all that fan pressure Twins fan's put on management before the trade deadline. That spurred them into making all those big moves. Or Yankee fans who've been merciless on Hicks for 3 years that finally forced their hand.
  10. If you give them some tequila and a cheese sandwich maybe
  11. Fan pressure never influenced management with decision making. They can see the results too. The only time pressure might speed up a decision is a case like Trevor Bauer. And the Dodgers acted quickly
  12. If all you had to do is put pressure on a struggling superstar, he'd be hitting .300
  13. I didn't see the second run score. Cooking dinner
  14. I'm pretty sure booing never made anyone play better or forced management's hand to deal a struggling player. Should Twins fan's boycott games or take up arms against the proletariat?
  15. A lot of soft contact grounders. Keuchel has pitched about as good as hoped. 1 more inning would be great. And yes to the lucky and unlucky.
