  1. Being relatively new in the annals of TD history they're doing a damn fine job of venting the anguish and suffering and joy. Yes, there are occasionally bright moments. Why did you limit it to just 130 games this year? The 1st 130 games of last year are pretty much a mirror of this year. Until the wheels fell off. Blamed on the injuries, that's why they added depth. They just forgot to add depth to the bullpen which isn't a priority according to them. And the constant lineup changes are mind boggling. Wait till Buxton returns. So his low .200 avg can go with Correas .228 avg and anchor the middle of the lineup. Scary proposition for Twins opponents.
  2. Didn't Chapman blow a 2 or 3 run lead vs the Twins a couple years ago as a yankee
  3. Is it a robe? I thought it was a trench coat representing the roaring 20s and prohibition days.
  4. It's all good. I'm a smart-ass sometimes. But I try not to be derogatory. In the same token some folks lose their minds if you don't agree with everything they say. Which as you know is ridiculous. We can all watch the same game and yet we will come to different conclusions on what we just saw. Plus it's Friday night and perhaps some are over imbibing . Which is okay too. I did make a comment regarding Correa which I implied that even though he hit a homer he's been inconsistent. And anybody who's watched all season would pretty much agree. As I said. I didn't say anything offensive. And all is well in Twins land tonight.
  5. Not as exciting as last night, but still entertaining. Gray gave the Twins the start they needed. The offense provided him a nice cushion in the 1st. And put it away in the 7th. They missed on a couple scoring opportunities between them, but it's hard to complain when they score 12. Hopefully they saved something for Scherzer tomorrow. Perhaps they can get past that 6 games over .500 barrier soon.
  6. Indeed. Sonny going deep was big. And the late runs gave them the night off.
  7. Scherzer had a rough last start I believe. But he's been good since the trade. I think Ryan was announced as tomorrow's starter, so hopefully he's sharp.
  8. Well fortunately I've been friends with Bill for 26 years
  9. ????? I have no idea what the response was. If I offended somebody over a post that no offense was given. Oh well
  10. I'm just guessing, but I'd say it involves service time
  11. Ejections. Scrums. And a lot of 2 out RBIs
  12. It's a start. Solo homer vs when he's come up with risp in a couple earlier ABs
  13. They weren't consecutive. Julien and Polanco walked followed by Correa DP. Then Kepler and Lewis walked before Wallners triple
  14. So that means his next AB should be a homer to complete the trifecta
  15. Nice job 2 out base clearing triple. Chiefs favorite
  16. Polanco missing fastballs middle of the plate that opponents have been depositing into the seats and Correa with number 25 GIDP
