Guys been bouncing around the minors for 7 years. I honestly believe he's better than Vasquez or Jeffers. If you're going to take a flyer, then go all in.

    The Twins have done a good job laying off Gausmans splitter going back to the 2023 playoff start. But he's still been effective. I just remember they've made him throw more pitches.

    There is some truth to that. But both sides need to agree. How is playing him on a bad wheel while struggling at the plate as he has been help the Twins? Unless the Twins really believe that whoever they call up will be worse than he has.

    I pointed that out in my post. How he was positioned in the SS spot. Jeffers caught the pop-up pretty level with 3rd base which means he ran 90+ feet with gear on.

    He needs to get healthy 1st. Then he can can try and get on track in St. Paul. He's not running even close to 100%. There was a play last night. Pop-up in foul ground that 29 other 3rd baseman would have caught, which Jeffers had to haul in. I know he was positioned closer to SS on that particular play. But it was still his ball. Right now he's not helping the ball club a whole lot. He did work a walk in the 6 run 10th.

    It hasn't been the case for Matthews. And it's still early for him. That's the 1st speed bump he's let him go over if my memory is correct.

    The Zebby who threw the 1st inning was not the same zebby who threw 2-7. 1st inning Zebby looked like a guy who thought he could overpower hitters. 2 through 7 had hitters off balance. Rinse and repeat that Zebby for the rest of the year please.
