  1. Well yeah. The umpires will make sure of that
  2. You like defense. I do too. He still didn't take the best route. Even if he did catch it.
  3. I understand giving guys days off. Twins were off on Monday. Castro and Correa off on the same day. I don't understand some of the decisions.
  4. If Santana somehow makes that play. And he lays out. I think Arozarena still tries to score. He's aggressive on the bases. It's just a question if Santana could recover quickly. I can't say whether he'd have made it or not. JMO
  5. Toad: You mean John Milner? Nobody can beat John Milner! Bob Falfa: I ain't nobody dork. I'll be there with about 40 people.
  6. You know. That old hard sugar candy on a string
  7. Only because they didn't want to wait till Dec 25 for him to show up
  8. From what I read. By rescinding his assignment to AAA and placing him on the 10 day, the Twins still retain Kirilloff's 1 option
  9. Oh wow! 2 games. And I don't have to offer a solution. I'm not a pitching coach for the Twins. That's their job. Why don't you go down to TF. Get a press credential and ask Pablo what he has to say about his performance so far in 2024. I'm pretty sure he'd say something along the line of, disappointing or maybe inconsistent at best. And get me some cheese, so I can enjoy my whine.
  10. Typical. I do believe there was a lack of communication on Kiriloffs part. Yet at the same time he was getting treatment for back issues. It's even stated that he had a MRI May 26th, so obviously the Twins knew there was a problem. It doesn't say what the results were. Since he wasn't sent down until June 13 the results must have not shown anything conclusive. What's the Twins role here? Do they just ask him how he feels every day? Kirilloff isn't off the hook in any way. Yet I'm not going to rake him over the coal for making a bad decision. Let's go back to last year. Buxton was not healthy to start the season. The Twins knew about that. Yet they still put him at the DH spot until Aug when the results were so bad and the knee wasn't getting any better. It's a 2 way street.
  11. I'm not whining. You're whining about justified criticism. You chose to focus on ONE game! Last year Lopez during the regular season would have a good game, then a not so good game. He got hot down the stretch. I'm not saying he can't do it again. He's had 3 or 4 really good starts this year. That's it.
  12. "Larnach being an unpredictable source of offensive contribution who could seemingly regress at any moment" Really? Based on what? Have you ever seen Kjerstad play? I have. I was shocked when he was picked 2nd overall. And the Orioles are great at picking good to great players. That doesn't mean they can't miss once in a while. But by all means, go get him. Make sure Larnach is part of the deal.
  13. Better than being delusional and living in the past. Remember when bread was 5 cents a loaf?
  14. That was last year! If he keeps pitching the way he has been, there won't be ANY playoff heroics.
  15. Pablo Lopez starts? Very troubling. How many times can a team come back from a 4 run deficit? And then, even after tying it up he goes out and gives up another run. The delay might have actually helped the Twins. By not allowing him to return. Nice comeback win tonight though.
  16. It happens to all good players. A lot
