    Hopefully they can figure out the cleats issue for Cortea. And pain management. Wouldnt doubt if some form of rest or surgery may be needed. Twins could really use his play at short stop and in the line-up. Never complained about the money C4 makes, he has been worth every penny Twins are paying him. He brings a presence and a chance to win a championship even when we see Twins falter in other areas.

    This team needs some releases or firings to stir it up, stale and complacent efforts. Getting squeezed by ump never helps matters.

    Canned after the season, he Watkins should be canned today. He has zero instincts or ability to read outfielders and when to send runners. Watkins is awful and it is not a dispute. If we fans can see his gaffes and bad decisions, should be evident to front office. Watkins poor decision making is affecting games.

    What and why was Martin sent home? Ball was put out of play once Jimenez fell in stands was he not? That should be dead ball. What in the world was Watkins doing?

    Max Kepler looks like he should go on disabled list the way he is moving. Just doesn't look like he is running well at all.

    Dislike this line-up construction. Very pedestrian effort by Twins bat's. Miranda is not a 2, he is a 4 or 5 hitter. Wallner back to striking out a lot. Twins have to lead league in hit into double plays. I want to see Brooks Lee bat lead off.

    Games already over. Why are we even pitching this guy Matthew's. His pitches are not competitive. One out and 7 runs and he is still in the game. Thank you Pohlads, fitting Blewitt is up with our ownership.

    12 million is pocket change to the Pohlad ownership. These owners wouldn't make this move if his deal was only 5 million even.

    Rogers would make other guy's better, and lengthen the pen. The salary seems to be the going rate in MLB for top end middle to back end relievers, and may be a roadblock I agree. Not a fan of the level. The bullpen really needs a boost right now a stabilizing force, and Twins could use left handed option. Not doing something at the deadline is coming home to roost. Twins are clearly short a lefty and the season is on the verge of going completely South to circling the drain. I would call it a needed hail Mary pass, but your not losing a player, and some other guys like Descalfini come off books next year. Twins front office and ownership would be wise to roll the dice on Roger's, he has quality stuff and our team needs the help. 60 day IL Paddock is an option as he is about that far out. They had really good revenue on Green Day concert. Get this lefty, get some guys back and we can still make a run in October. Things seem bleak, but we are not out of it yet.

    Our manager is familiar with him. We need another left hander in the bullpen pretty bad. Thielbar is mop up guy now, not a hold or save reliever. Rogers, has closing experience. I would trust our managers evaluation over the Giants manager. I mean if Twins can pay Manny Margot 12 million, why not Taylor Roger's. Maybe Maki can get him back on track. Need a roll of the dice as bullpen has really high ERA right now. This team needs another bullpen piece badly. If ownership steps up, team and fans will. I really do think old friend Roger's would give Twins a boost. The talent is still there and the dude can pitch, has quality. Tonkin will help us. If they need to dump salary next year, next year is next year. This bullpen needs shot in the arm.
