  1. That is hoping he can continue the same level of offensive output into the MLB, which is unlikely. What exactly would you consider an offensive black hole? That is exactly what I'm profiling him as right now. Perhaps next season he will prove otherwise.
  2. To beat the dead horse... that Vielma ranking. This dude is struggling with getting on base in A ball... I absolutely hate the idea of this guy on a 25-man roster. To me, his glove makes no difference if he can only muster a below .600 OPS. His last stretch of games was good. What is more sustainable .286 BABIP 1st half or.356 BABIP 2nd half with no power? Revere is an example of a guy that has stuck in the MLB despite no power. He was a consistent .300 hitter that had about a .050 ISO, so its possible Vielma works out. I get at this point any contributor would be a good thing, but I think other guys have a better chance than him.
  3. Product is specialty lubricants. I use it now and like it. The company is expanding and wants to increase market share in my field. I'm pretty sure I'm going to do it, just waiting on an offer. Plus, it will give me an opportunity to utilize my undeniable persuasion skills?
  4. Kind of cold call. A lot of the customers already use the product. The company is just trying to expand its market share. So some might be cold calls, others not.
  5. Anyone have any experience with outside sales? I have a pretty good opportunity right now and just looking for feedback.
  6. This is going to be a tough item to sell for Sanders. Hopefully, his campaign can find a way to address this issue. I don't think comparing this election to Obama is fair. Obama only won because of the disaster George w had going at the time. Then, the Republicans team a horrible campaign in 2012. If Sanders wants to win this thing, he has to patch the issues in his message, and has to expose Clinton where she is vulnerable. P.s. How would the gop race look with Palin running? I think she would have a legitimate shot.
  7. I suggest you continue to use first person from now on. Really adds to the authenticity.
  8. I still prefer to hide behind my ambiguity in order to not hold back the magnetic urge to inject snark into almost every conversation.
  9. Time machine. Trade nolasco for a time machine.
  10. Glunn, I think you got it. But, I don't understand the Reagan love..... He wasn't a very good president. And, he was at the top of a gigantic scandal! I'm not sure why the gop puts him on a pedestal.
  11. I share your sentiments brock. I might actually visit Germany for the first time layer this year, depends on a new job. While I dislike some elements of Sanders and Clinton, holy **** this debate was more tolerable than any gop. Also, what the hell are Webb and Chaffee doing running for office? Webb completely embarrassed himself and Chaffee is as hallow as the "I love yous" I said in college. There has to be more eloquent Democrats right? Right? It's amazing to me the stark contrast in parties. The gop is full of contentious radicals while the Democrats are wishy washy and untrustworthy. I really wish Sanders would have roasted Clinton on foreign policy and economic reform more effectively. Clinton is almost the standard of the problem in politics.
  12. The luster of the aj trade wore off over 5 years ago for me. It's plain to see to everyone is outside of MN where they lack is evolution. It seems there has been an increasing amount of negative ink about the fundamental flaws of twins organization. I wonder if the right people will begin to take notice?
  13. The commentators were pretty much calling for croft! Remember, this was a close game until Brooks broke a 70 yard td. The offense was anemic before that. Yeah, I'm going to say a qb sucks when in a blowout win he only has 50 yards passing. As far as the northwestern and Stanford, I think it was a fluke. Northwestern has a nice defense, but defense alone only gets you so far. At some point, a team needs to put up points. Northwestern won't, and the gophers will struggle to worth a one dimensional offense. But hey, that is one more dimension than nwu has.
  14. Leidner sucked again today. Luckily, defense was great and running game beat it up. O line completely dominated that game. Fun to watch that happen. Defensive line was good for the first time all season. When both lines are winning, pretty good chance the team wins. It was nice to give croft some playing time. Hopefully he continues to get snaps each week since the rs was burned. BTW, I said northwestern wasn't very good, and it showed today. That team won't win games against competent offenses.
  15. What do you propose then? An invasion? Why doesn't the US just take over the world? That way diplomacy can be spread globally and we can be sure everyone follows the moral code we've become accustomed to.
  16. It's OK. He's not proud anymore... I ruined everything.
  17. Mauer recently injured his elbow in a sneak attack from his twins. Stay tuned and cross your fingers.
  18. I don't think pissing of the rest of the world is going to get putin where he wants to go. If I had to pick an a region to be allied with, the middle east would be last on my list.
  19. Putin got his pee pee slapped by the head of nato yesterday. He used some pretty stern words when addressing Russian involvement in Syria. They keep it up and I could see sanctions being placed on them. That is one thing Russia does not need.
  20. That is pretty cool. I bet if hunter retires he is going to be happy he came back to the twins for one more year.
  21. Pinch hit torii in the ninth and give him a nice send off.
  22. I didn't say anything about their defense not being good. Their offense is almost as bad as the gophers. That, is what will hinder them going forward. Most big ten teams have a legitimate qb. I don't see them winning the west.
  23. This offense has been painful to watch. I don't understand why it has taken this long for kill to pull leidner. After seeing croft, how the **** did kill start the year with leidner? Did throws a nice ball. Guys in stupid rube chat tried dating his ball had no zip, I thought the complete opposite. Nice release, accurate, and gets rid of it on time. He's still a freshman, so he obviously will make mistakes. Would have been nice to make them against Kent state and Ohio. Still, the season is not lost since Iowa beat Wisconsin. I really don't think nw is a very good team. Again, a competent qb at least puts points on the board and the game is completely different. I'm not giving up, hopefully nobody else does.
  24. I also could care less about the people doing the killing. The innocent people and lives that are being ruined is beyond comprehension. The problem is, that the situation is so complicated. I don't think anyone wants Assad to be in power, but the Russians. The fact the US has aided the rebels, Russia is aiding Assad, and isis are a bunch of **** heads... how do you save the refugees? If Russia and the US have any altercations this could get ugly. Further, how do you stabilize a region that is so violent? I just wish peace was a more attractive option to people.
  25. I really want a 3 way tie. Those games would be so fun. Plus, the wc game after! Brock would be permadrunk.
