    Hildenberger did allow runs last night... 3/3 inherited runners scored. They had not scored until he was on the mound. Just because it doesn't count on his ERA doesn't mean he hasn't allowed a run! He allowed 3 last night. I'm not saying to option him. Not at all. Inherited runs count, none the less.

    Does anyone have a link to a Baldelli interview after todays game? I really want to hear what he said... how he explains himself....

    It seems mental, to me. Odorizzi pitched a no-hitter through 4, and the 4 pitch walk should have been a K, as all 4 pitches showed to be a strike on pitch f/x. Something is not clicking in his head. The 11 strikeout game he pitched was just as real as the first inning the start in Philly and the 5th inning today.

    Tweeting you don't need Kimbrel every time a reliever has a bad outing and the the reaction is to sign him...... is weak. This does not have to be the team we've got. If so, why sign Cron and Gonzales and Cruz and Schoop et al as well. This is the team we've got is so very very weak. The team can be anyone that is signed. Including Kimbrel. And tweeting is weak... period. Magill and Moya and Reed? How unexciting and not the answer. Just more dirt in the engine.

    Probably Killebrew, eh? Players who hit a lot get into a lot of double plays, too. This is for sure. Alas...... 2 outs with one plate appearance is always unwelcome. Astudillo has a long was to go before we start talking about joining the club.

    The DH - which I am ambivalent about - always made me think of the little league pinch runner rule. So kind of little league in the MLB. I don't mind it either way though. But I think pitchers should know how to hit, too. Playing baseball means batting and well as playing the field.

    NOW Baldelli puts in May! Sure. Wait until you are behind by 4 runs or more..... good idea. Stick to late innings, not when the game is turning...... Ha.... now May walks the first batter..... un f-ing believeable. Only 10 walks so far....

    Don't forget the 3/3 inherited runners scored! That almost evens out the 3/3 of those runs you speak of that Hildenberger let in for him.

    YES! In a game like this? Definately. Never would have brought in Vasquez. Bring in the savers when the game needs saved. Absolutely.

    The first pitch to McNeil was a ball too.... got a break finally. Hildenberger back to letting in inherited runners... 3/3 today.
