Correa's out at home and no run looms large right now.....
  2. h2oface
Alvarez homer out by an inch.
  3. h2oface
His range in the field seems to be more limited so far this year, too. Great arm though, if he can get to the ball.
  4. h2oface
That was ugly at home for Correa. Feels like we left a run out there.

    Go Reds!

Great home opener win!!!! That box score link goes to yahoo and the season opener with KC (unless they have fixed it when you read this). Use this one: https://www.mlb.com/gameday/astros-vs-twins/2023/04/07/718684/final/box As good as Gray has been, the batters have left him with 2 no decisions. deGrom'd without losing the game, even though they gave up the lead. [Edit: Gray DID get the win in his first start] Did Gallo hurt himself doing his Delman Young impersonation in right field?

And Lopez is the winning pitcher......

    Sure you can 😇

Why didn't Buxton score from 2nd on that!? 😇 Correa couldn't even move the runner over. Just watched the ball. Buxton would have scored if he had.

Hmmmmm. Ks are accepted, also....... That is the goal of most in extras.....
  14. h2oface
    That's the pitch, Sure is.
  15. h2oface
Well we shot all our bullets. Pagan is still available. Lopez looking like last year. This is so disappointing.

The White Sox crushed Pressly on opening day.

Such a wierdly managed baseball team. You don't let your fastest runner steal bases, and your 200 million dollar man grounds him into a DP and takes him off the base paths. Too proud to bunt and get him on second with 1 out. Doesn't the computer tell you that a hitter that in 1/15 against the opponent should not hit away when you need a run? Yet they use the same computer to tell them to not let pitchers pitch and pinch hit.... go figure.

Why was Solano not running!!! He just stood there. It was a grounder!!!!
  19. h2oface
All right Solano! Time for the other 4 new guys to score some runs.

Umpire giving away strikes to Houston!!

87 pitches for Gray. If Baldelli pulls him..........
  23. h2oface
    No platinum glove this year......
  24. h2oface
How is it that Larnarch gets so many bad calls? Bad calls on all parts of the plate. Inside, outside, high, low. He has a great eye, and gets screwed.
  25. h2oface
Great Correa. 1-14 against Houston. Only 1 out with runner in scoring position.....
