  1. Did anyone else's audio just go completely haywire?
  2. Glad to see Buxton lay off that outside pitch, which seems to have been the bane of his existence lately. Hopefully there's some basepath carnage coming.
  3. Just tuned in to find out from the game thread that I missed an inside the park home run. Dammit. Come on, FSN. Replay is your friend.
  4. I agree; this is great analysis. Much better and more in-depth than the typical ESPN type blurbs. If I can't watch the game (or really, even if I can) this is my go-to this season. I just hope it continues for a long time.
  5. "A lesser hitter behind him"? How do we know that? Isn't Sanó hitting behind him? Clearly at this point Mauer's job is to play up his last elite offensive skill: on base. Anything else is just trying to force it.
  6. I would buy a ticket to that game.
  7. Hmm. Well I dated this chick in college who was 5' 1"...
  8. And two RBI doubles in a row by Castro and Polanco put the Twins up 5-3.
  9. 3-3 bottom of seven. Gibson goes 5+, Breslow has a rough debut, but no damage done because Pressly gets two outs with the bases loaded. Buxton having another rough day at the plate; 0-4. Only on K, but in the worst spot. Santana having outfield adventures and generally showing why he shouldn't be in the lineup except in an emergency. Kepler's stinging the ball, Rosario walked twice somehow, and Sano's having a good day at the plate albeit without much power.
  10. Also, Taylor Rogers really looks like a nice weapon to have against lefties. I liked the strategy there; really only the first batter that inning was problematic.
  11. Well, I mean, he did whiff a 90 mile an hour fastball dead down the middle of the plate. If Sano made contact with that pitch it'd have left the Twin Cities.
  12. ANOTHER walk for Rosario? http://i.imgur.com/OONeVvp.jpg
  13. Glad they put in Pressly when they did. That was a bad jam.
  14. Good news though, that Pressly is warming in the pen.
  15. To me, he's not looking great. A little wild, not overpowering stuff. I doubt that he was the correct reliever for this situation. 2 on, no outs, game tied. We need a fireman, not Breslow.
  16. The Twins' defense was really, really good the first couple of games. It's almost like that matters.
