    True dat. Let's ride it out a bit longer and not assume anything. That said, I like where it's been going so far. Also, that QO has gone up considerably in just a couple years.

    For whatever reason, I love that he lied to get a spot in the lineup. Gotta love a guy who just wants to play.

    I'm beginning to believe that this is the thing to do. There's a risk he reinjures himself before then, but all pitchers are risky. There's also a risk he actually takes the QO and don't perform. But if a QO is something like $13-15 million, he could likely get more than that on a 2 or 3 year deal, which would make it worth doing. Assuming he doesn't blow up of course. The only thing I'm surprised by is that, 1) he has trade value, and 2) he's pitching well enough to even tender an offer for next year. What has the world come to?
