  1. There is no blame. There is only peace. And what it offers us and our brothers.
  2. Fun stuff. Still think the growing pains would be significant for Hicks. Time in AAA would be good for him. We shall soon see.
  3. Fun recap of who's who. Enjoyed the "Don't be looking for these guys. They're not going to be there." Thank you Kirsten.
  4. Glad I stumbled across this. Very fun. Thank you Brad.
  5. Absolutely true, brother.
  6. Excellent Seth. As always I feel a little smarter after reading your articles. I agree that Hendriks is more likely to come north than Gibson. Have to get him out there and find out if his minor league track record is going to transfer to MLB. Last year certainly wasn’t kind to him. I also agree that Deduno, while a bit of a wild card, sometimes goes out there and really confuses the hitters. Sadly, he sometimes confuses his catcher, too.
  7. Thank you Cody. A lot of things have to go right for the Twins to get to .500 this year, but hey, it's spring training. It's time to be optimistic. Go Twins!
  8. There is so much buzz about Sano, Hicks, Gibson, etc. Unless his minor league numbers are a complete fluke Arcia is potentially the biggest threat we have coming in a long time. I think this kid is something special. Thank you Parker. Nice article.
  9. Does anyone remember what the article was about? Oh yeah, Souhan. I believe more could have been done. I think more should have been done. The article (remember the article?) is a whitewash. We will certainly cheer for the Twins, but the fans deserved better.
  10. I like Doumit, but his sub .800 OPS is not something that you hang your future on. Parmelee should get every opportunity. If he falters we could very well see Arcia this summer. I really expect Morneau to have a good year. Just sayin'.
  11. Each pitching staff has an Ace, relative to the other starters. I believe he is ours. May was the featured pitcher in that trade, but Worley could be a great addition and he could be a Twin for years. Let's have it go that way!
  12. Calling a spade a spade is not such a bad thing. Much better than insisting it's a shiny shovel. It's a rebuilding year. Hope to see some pieces fall into place.
  13. That story (link) is from November? Now that is frustrating. I am optimistic about Worley, but otherwise the article is still relevent. And excellent. (love the bus) Hopefully Diamond will be OK. muttermuttermutter.....
  14. I agree. Still, someone must have thought they saw something in the guy. Maybe...
  15. Once again Seth, excellent article. Sure have high hopes for this guy. Would be great to have a pitcher who we feel confident that there is a good chance to win the game everytime he takes the mound. 2013 should tell us a lot about him.
  16. Nice outline of what we can expect to see. Thank you (does tis come in a scorecard format?)
  17. It does seem likely that the starting rotation could not be any worse and actually has to improve, lest some little known record of futility fall to the Twins. Plouffe, Parmelee, Dozier, Hendriks... someone will step up, right? Perhaps several someones. Let's go with that. It's spring.
  18. Great story about Pomeranz. One of those fun basball trivia things. Man I love baseball.
  19. Very cool Jeremy. I can see that a GM would offer Appel less than slot, insisting that they need the higher dollars to sign younger players. Unless Boras has a back door to effectively have Appel become a free agent & get teams into a bidding war for him I don't see how this could possibly have been a good thing for Appel. These slot numbers are not so small that the kids can ignore the amounts, but they keep the Boras type agents from playing games with a kid's career. Appel is the slow learner.
  20. The AAA team last year had no one with a good year who didn't see time in a Twins uniform. The surprise guy could wind up being Arcia. I'd bet he has a better chance of coming north with the team than Hicks.
  21. I really like this article because it makes one think. Not such a bad thing. Got to believe they would have liked power arms, but they went off on their own tangent. Remember that they were high on drafting tall pitchers. Who came up with that one? Sure didn't arrive at that conclusion by looking at Johan. And sometimes it would be nice to see someone shoot their mouth off occasionally, Dan Gladden-like.
  22. Thank you Cody. It seemed completely trivial until I realized it caused a BASEBALL GAME to be delayed. Thus, it was an important event. Thank you for reminding us of our rich history.
