    At least the weekend losses had some drama and storylines to hang on. I've watched more compelling coats of paint drying. This team is absolutely dead in the water- I hope Falvine already have an interim manager lined up to take over after the ASG... or maybe Dougie Fresh?

    If FB is the future of sports broadcasting, they have a Looonnng way to go. Very difficult to watch. I've lost the link 3 times already, the audio twice. Then I got an audio bleed-over from another game. Best of all, 480P makes for a real Blur-O-Vision experience!

    I hear you, brother. This was a management cluster all around. Rodney does have consecutive blown saves. You've got 4 or 5 guys (if May is included) who would love to get a shot at high lev situations in Rochester. Time to move Rodney before his value implodes.

    That's the most apt description. Saying this in the nicest way possible, he's the closest thing to a cartoon character in a major league uniform since Kennys Vargas- he's a Baby Bartolo. Lots of fun.

    The Fangrapgs article makes an extremely solid case that he's the exact same hitter he's always been. I highly encourage reading the facts behind the amazing saga of Willians Astudillo. And his defense HAS to be blow average or he would have caught yesterday or today, and he clearly would have been in the majors before now.

    FWIW, Dick Bremer expressed grave doubt that Astudillo is even 5'9"... and somewhat comically expressed "no doubt" that Astudillo is all of 225# (with the accompanying giggle from LaTroy Hawkins).

    I have hope for Littel based on his peripherals thus year. But that was the wrong place and the wrong time. If you need relief help, call up relievers. Or don't send down, a guy like Busenitz, in the first place. McGill for Littel was the logical switch, even if McGill is out of options. Busenitz is a high lev guy, along with 2 or 3 others in Roc- like Duffey.

    Rodney just blew his second consecutive blown save and has looked horrible in the process.. He's paid the big bucks to fail at the job he was hired to do. Everyone loves the Astudillo story, but it's on the manager to put the players on the field. Neither Littel or Astudillo should have been in the positions the manager/GM placed them in.
