  1. Collabello would actually be a solid pick up for this team.
  2. Oh look, another good RP traded, Lowe to the Blue Jays for nothing of note! Twins should have been all over that one, they wouldn't have even had to spend the Pohlad's money on a plane ticket!
  3. Brad Childress would have cut him the minute the baby was born.
  4. There is zero chance Gordon gets moved.
  5. Rodney is a flaming pile of dog crap this season, he has lost the Mariners 5 games on his own this year minimum.
  6. Rosario or Hicks absolutely should NOT be traded in order to dump Nolasco. The Twins have plenty of payroll flexibility and while it sucks having Nolasco's money on the books the Twins can easily just eat it instead of giving up a stud OF like Hicks or Rosario.
  7. The Mariners are also by far the biggest underachievers in the MLB this year and have a manager who isn't super highly regarded, I wouldn't read too much into it as he will be fired shortly anyways.
  8. LHP vs LHB, you play the percentages!!!11111!!!!1!!!1!1!!1!1!!!1!!!one!!
  9. Pictured: TR tries to convince the Padres to take Nolasco. http://s3cf.recapguide.com/img/tv/117/10x15/The-Simpsons-Season-10-Episode-15-7-cd42.jpg
  10. The Twins are really good at talking around the trade deadline!
  11. 3-3 game, 5th inning, wind blowing out, runner on 2nd, 0 outs, Dozier your team MVP at the plate, Liriano had given up 8 hits so far, including a double earlier to Dozier that missed being a HR by two inches. And you call for a bunt? What exactly is that "getting"?
  12. If Kansas City and the blue jays can be so aggressive there is zero reason why the twins can't.
  13. or maybe they are just good talented ball players? Molly hasn't really had Hicks back TBH, he just was the last one standing and took advantage thankfully.
  14. can't ground out every time Tulo would have hit it out
  15. Papelbon to the Nationals, for a AA guy who doesn't strike anyone out, 12th best prospect in a bad Nats farm AND the Phillies are paying 4 mil. another one that TR and co could have easily gotten. Hope there is a plan in place....the price for some damn good RP are dirt cheap.
  16. Call me old fashioned, but when a pitcher doesn't get out of the 6th I can't credit him as "getting it done"
  17. Hicks was always a 5 tool type guy, that helps a lot, the margin for error is so much smaller. The other 3 are more one tool guys which means they really need to mash (Vargas and Arcia) to make it, and it's why they were never as highly regarded. Santana needs to improve his D to where it can be, if he does that he will be fine, but that is a tall order as well.
  18. Molitor has done some good things this year, getting tossed in that situation was not one of them.
