  1. Prosecute the **** out of them. I don't care what their sales goals were and how crappy a company was they worked for, you can't steal Peoples Identities, social security numbers etc and commit fraud. Just because you work for a crap company doesn't give you immunity from being a felon. Leave the job and get a new one. Jesus. Also I find it epic right now that a Wells Fargo ad is running an inch below the "post" button here. I had a checking and savings account with Wells Fargo, I canceled it today and moved it to my chase account (until they get busted for this nonsense I will just use them and BoA) my banker here in the city for wells Fargo was begging me to stay with them, it was clear he knew that this was only the tip of the iceberg with this crap.
  2. Not stock market related, but you should all check out betterment.com My returns have been better on there then any traditional brokerage firm, and thy also have the lowest fees I have seen(0.15%, plus every time I refer someone I get 6 months free) Basically they have a tighter product/company then your troweprices etc of the world, and the results out pace them by a % or so as well.
  3. I'd like Alex, even if he fails I would love to have a GM who was actually aggressive and would make a run to "win it all" when it makes sense. The Bradford for a 1st round and 4th round pick may go down as a stupid trade, but I will be damned if I ever get too upset about it, Speilman is going for a super bowl win, and as a fan, I love it.
  4. I'd like to wager $500 on Parker winning said race. 8:7 odds sounds about right.
  5. That game last night was hilarious, Minnesota will be lucky to win 6 games
  6. Also by all accounts Barry Bonds has been a good influence in Miami, and McGwire in St Louis etc. Once A-Rod is officially 100% retired, I would take him 7 days a week as our hitting coach over the "home run or strike out" tendencies that Bruno is teaching.
  7. Yeah this year was rough for him, but last year he actually played pretty dang well.
  8. FWIW the Twins already have other guys on the 25 man roster who have been busted for PEDs
  9. I like A-Rod quite a bit, and think he is one of the best 5 or 6 players in the history of baseball. (Positional players) I wouldn't mind picking him up once rosters expand to 40, but I wouldn't want him taking any at bats from guys like Vargas, Rosario, Sano or even Park if Park is brought back up? Basically, I would rather have A-Rod on this team then Plouffe at this stage. I would be interested to see how A-Rod could "mentor" some of the guys. But under no scenario should he be playing every day for the Twins, or even 3-4 times a week, maybe one or two PH spots for them and a start at DH every other week?
  10. Also Santiago is a LHP, that also checks the "LHP for the rotation" box
  11. To me it looks like a trade involving three change of scenery type pitchers, and Santiago. I don't think it's as great of a trade as people say, but it's a pretty solid trade overall. Santiago at least can be a innings eater 4/5 for us, and he will be pitching for his first real "big" deal in free agency. Ideally he pitches 200 IP and a 3.40 era and the twins can either trade him, or offer him arb and get a draft pick (or one more year) Meyer could reach his potential, but I doubt he would have done that here. Nolasco could salvage his career with a nice 1.3 seasons in LA as well. Smart but not great trade IMO. I give it a B
  12. I give him a C+ overall, but an A compared to what Ryan likely would have done.
  13. I dunno man, catchers seem to get traded all the time, hell look at what we fetched for Drew Butera? If the offers weren't that great, you still make the move IMO. Keeping Suzuki around the rest of this year before he heads to free agency is pointless for this club. You take the best offer you get and you move on, I refuse to believe that nobody would have taken Suzuki at this stage. The Mets, Dodgers, Mariners, Astros, Indians all needed catcher help, none of them would give up a C+ prospect at the very least? Doubtful
  14. Well since they didn't trade Suzuki they might as well go ahead and extend him for 2017, there isn't a better internal option at the external options will be pricey.
  15. If no other moves are made Antony gets a D for this trade deadline.
  16. Blue Jays just acquired Scott Feldman, no more Santana?
  17. Perkins was hurt and clearly was hurt all year, I'm not going to fault him for that. I will fault Jepsen for being a terrible healthy pitcher this year.
  18. Man, Jepsen really screwed us this year. If he could have been a "proven closer!!11!!!1!" he would have been such a nice trade chip right now. Unreal.
  19. The Yankees have 27 World Series title, "luck" often happens to the teams that earn it.
  20. I said before I would be "Ok" with one trade, but if Suzuki isn't traded today it is a major failure by the front office. The guy is an impending FA, there is ZERO reason not to trade him for anything.
  21. Yeah Cashman has done a helluva job not only convincing his bosses they needed to do the un Yankee like "rebuild" but brought back 4 or 5 top 50 top prospects!
  22. Wow, Yankees just traded Beltran for Tate+more. Once A-Rod and a couple of those contracts are off the books the Yankees are setting up for another dynasty like run.
  23. Wow. Wow. Wow. Abad return looks pretty...um...weak compared.
