    Anyone gonna play this year? I went and checked into my draft kings account and started playing some MLB this last couple weeks leading up to NFL. Good day yesterday: won $1160 cash in a tournament and an entry to a $1869 buy in main event for 9/5.(thanks Buxton! That 3rd home run took me from about $500 of winnings to $3000) I wish I could just "sell that ticket" though to be honest. Not bad for $35 total spent. And gives me a nice chunk to play with for NFL this year. First few weeks should be good as always as you get a lot of new folks who just pick chalk or homer picks non stop.

    I think a ton of it has to do with who the Twins have happened to be playing. Before the deadline they ran into two white hot teams, and blew a couple of heartbreakers. Now that they are playing more middle of the road teams, they are dominating a bit more. Of course, Polanco, Dozier, Buxton, rosario hitting out of their minds prob has a little to do with it as well Nice get for the athletic, will have to give them a follow.

    I'm not gonna sell it back. If they make the World Series I will just hedge $3,000-$4,000 or so on their opponent, that will pay for a couple World Series tix, travel, accommodations and enough left over for a stupid bet next year

    He has a .900+ OPs the last couple months. And the Hr power is coming around as well. 20 HR 35 SB and a .850-.875 ops with his defense? Watch out.

    Warning!!!! hot sports opinions incoming Souhan and his ilk are why nobody reads local newspapers anymore. He's just writingg this nonsense for page views/paper buys but luckily people are smart enough to see through what it is. Complete garbage. Unreal the hit piece that he publishes the second Sano gets hurt.

    Sorry high 4's and low 5s for guys out of a bullpen is awful, especially when they don't get dinged for interited runs scored, which pressly has been getting killed on

    Blake wood would be better than most of the guys in this pen, they don't need world beaters, they need guys who won't put up 9+ ERAs

    It's a long grind and the Twins have the 25th best ERA in bullpens in all of baseball. Just because they had a lucky few weeks doesn't mean that the bullpen was anything other than "lucky" instead of terrible during that time.

    It has cost them at least 2 games since the trade, most likely 3 games. with those two wins they would be around 40%, 3 wins? they would be 55%

    7th in a SSS, who cares? They are 25th on the year, which is pathetic considering they have such an amazing defense behind them. The bullpen is awful. How again is trading your BEST bullpen arm in the middle of a playoff race NOT bone-headed?

    It's gotten a lot worse by that boneheaded trade of Kintzler and having to force Gee (who should have remained a RP) into the rotation.

    It's on the front office, and to a lesser extent on Molitor for his managing of this bullpen. Falvey and co have done NOTHING to impress me thus far. This bullpen is a joke of the highest proportions.

    Can this front office actually pretend to care about the bullpen and go out on the waiver wire and make a trade? Unreal that this team can score 9 runs, but lose because the bullpen is the worst bullpen in baseball.

    They score nine freaking runs and lose. This loss again is on the HORRENDOUS bullpen and rotation that the new front office built. Unreal.

    He had his moments here, sometimes young players just take a little time to progress and reach their potential. I do think the Twins rushing him originally did him absolutely no favors. I do wonder if that is why Buxton struggled so long as well.

    Lol, I wouldn't. I'd prefer the 5 WAR that Hicks is gonna put up per year the next 5 years.

    I loved the signing at the time. They definitely needed a "pro" arm on this club. He has been one of the biggest unsung heros over the last month or so.
