    As near as I can tell, the national press is far more concerned with what Josh Hamilton ate for breakfast than anything concerning the AL Central divisional race.

    Going to the game; looks to be sunny, breezy, and not too warm. I have a good feeling about this one. Gibson should be able to keep the ball in the park, and that should make the difference.

    I'm not a saint on any topic. One of the nicer things about casual conversation is that moving forward is not a requirement. Rather like dancing, I suppose.

    I don't know if that has stopped people from doing it. it is kind of the curse of being a public figure. if I recall, the objection was to the same thing being brought up repeatedly in unrelated threads.

    I also prefer Vargas at the moment as the DH, and Escobar as the regular SS. I have no doubt that Arcia will be back up, and then things will get a little crowded. I think Santana may ultimately be the odd man out, with Escobar starting now and Polanco knocking on the door.

    My guess is that Tonkin and Pressly are sent down when Fien and Vargas come up, which gets back to 12 pitchers. Might be a bit for Arcia.
