    So the interesting thing about education in the 21st century is not how you get that first diploma, but how many times you'll need to re-train to fit jobs/professions that didn't exist when you went to school the first time. I've been lucky to have a strong autodidact bent, but a lot of the kids I meet now are going to need formal training at various points in their lives to stay relevant. And we're going to want them to so they continue to be part of the tax base that keeps the infrastructure going for our sorry old butts.
