If we lose the next two games our Win% will be equal to our team Batting Average.

Our "MiLD" guys are getting HOT!
  11. Whammy
Dick, this whole season's been a pig wrestle
  12. Whammy
I think the shorthand for Minor League Deals need to be "MiLD" It works, because that's the hottest anyone feels about them.

We're not playing more baseball until tomorrow
  14. Whammy
I'll be honest... I thought you were being cheeky.

That Dozier AB killed me too. I was at the game, so I didn't have the TV view, but this should be about right. Whatever you think of the decision to bunt here, matters not. First pitch he squared to bunt and pulled back. OK Second pitch he missed on a bunt attempt. MISSED. Not a foul. Just a whiff. He clearly had no interest in bunting even though he was getting the sign to do so. Third pitch. No bunt attempt. The manager must have seen the sadness in Dozier's eyes and called off the bunt. Jesus. Eventually pulls a grounder right down the line for an easy DP (maybe could have had a triple play) Not only do today's player STINK at bunting. They have absolutely no desire to do so. Take a couple pitches... foul off a bunt or two.... and magically, they get to do what they want, and swing away.

Just curious how people would know that Kepler was pounding the ball but getting unlucky.
  19. Whammy
353/441/608 for Kepler over his last 2 weeks. If he does that for another two weeks, he should be called up.

Of all of the debatable, frustrating, questionable, bizzare, or annoying things that the Twins have done this century, I'm just going to say it.... This is the winner. They straight up seem to be effing with his career.

1 start and 1 relief appearance in the last 20 days, for a grand total of, I believe, 3-2/3 innings. I'm not one for Internet shorthand, but.... SMH

    Overshadowed by Arcia's dive-kick
  23. Whammy
I'll give him credit, he was selling out to save the game. The dive was a little awkward. The ball got past his glove and body, but his flailing foot kicked it 60' directly to Santana, almost on the fly.
  24. Whammy
Was the gun 8mph hot for Britton?
  25. Whammy
    Awesome kick by Arcia
