    Pretty sure the Twins pick the broadcasters, and they don't want negative/critical voices. Most TV crews are like this. One exception is the Mets broadcasters, who are not afraid to criticize the team.

    Joe Maddon write a book a couple of years ago stating that only about 50% of MLB managers have the authority to make most of their own decisions. I guess we can all decide if we think Rocco is making his own moves without a lot of input from the FO.

    It's gotten hard to tell what exactly the Twins' offensive strategy is, but I don't think it's "work the count." They are 21st in MLB in walks. On the TV broadcast they have said many times that the Twins are the worst team in MLB at hitting breaking balls. It might be our hitters just aren't good enough, no matter the approach.
