    Joe Maddon write a book a couple of years ago stating that only about 50% of MLB managers have the authority to make most of their own decisions. I guess we can all decide if we think Rocco is making his own moves without a lot of input from the FO.

    According to Baseball Reference, Hunt led the NL in HBP every season from 1968-74, with 50 HBP in 1971. He had 243 HBP lifetime!

    It's gotten hard to tell what exactly the Twins' offensive strategy is, but I don't think it's "work the count." They are 21st in MLB in walks. On the TV broadcast they have said many times that the Twins are the worst team in MLB at hitting breaking balls. It might be our hitters just aren't good enough, no matter the approach.

    This is the best team the Yankees have had in several years. They are third in runs scored, first in OBP, first in ERA, etc. And Garrett Cole hasn't pitched yet.
