    They need to sit him down for a week to 10 days...... Last night was just one more reason.......has a terrible night at the plate, only getting on because Grossman is a subpar fielder....then in his oblivious state.....makes a terrible base running error...not once but twice.....watch the play.....going first to second.....then trying to push and go to third....this guys head is not in the game.....loads of talent..no discipline.......just want to slap him upside the head to wake him up...... But bailed out by two terrible defensive plays....lucky our division cannot play defense..... cannot have your starting 1st baseman hitting under .100........time to sit him down.

    To me this all comes down to Correa....if he is only here 1 yr...then that deal is a A.....if 2 yr's then a B and if by some chance he is here for all three, then we did not get value.....so a D....... Dumping Donaldson was an A......getting back relatively minor contracts but losing catching depth.......still ok with.... This team will not compete for playoffs....so hopefully a couple of these guys will have some value at the trade deadline.....play the young guys and look forward to 23 and 24...... Archer was a good dart throw, for the price worth taking the chance on the guy. Roll out the balls and lets get the season going. Let's shoot for .500 baseball......

    Correa is hopefully a one yr rental....the shorter his contract the better for the team. (he over performs and opts out for a long term deal, somewhere else)......if we see all three years (means he did not exceed contract) so this buys the Twins a one year window to get Lewis MLB ready.

    don't waste money on these guys...this season is a throw away anyways....save the $'s and get a real budget for next year....

    to me the logical spot for him is platooning w Donaldson between 3rd and DH......give them both some time out of the field..and keep their bats in the lineup.

    nothing wrong w Cave...but nothing special about him either....trading for a 4th outfielder just never a wise thing to do. Surprised he has hung around as long as he has w the Twins...... Twins just can't seem to develop Pitching or identify when they have a chance to do something......

    hopefully he earns all 29.75.....would mean good things for the Twins, and Him!!

    Wade is a replacement level player....so getting anything for him that can help at the major league level is a good deal. Hope he does well in SF....ready for the the season!!

    guessing if they can get Odo for 10mil would keep salaries manageable...and lock in another started. 1 yr deal....maybe a mutual option.

    those who admitted to using Illegal/banned I put differently than those who use prior to testing and those who are suspected of using....... Without the proof opens a slippery slope.....but for me Bonds, AROD...not a chance...AROD specifically suspended...why would you take after the whole first round, then testing.....WOW.... Should not allowed to be around the game....as bad as Rose betting on baseball....broke the written rules......you are out of consideration.

    assumptions Marvin G is gone (9mil), Eddie R don't offer Arbitration (7.75 mil), Decline Sergio R Option (5Mil) Big Quesiton is Pitching....can you get Odo back cheap? Hill? What else will be out there...... Resign Cruz, one yr good money with a mutual option..if he wants two a slight discount in the second with escalators....bring up a young guy to replace Rosario.... They will have to plan for no fans in 2021, and adjust up if possible.....

    I hate the bogus crowd noise piped in..... To add some fun....saw the idea of removing the screens protecting the cardboard people.....make foul balls a lot more fun........ Cruz on pace for 200 RBI....if he can play 60 against the Sox..... Sox are not contenders yet....that Defense is horrible!! Still questioning the lineup...... BUT HAPPY ball is back!!

    Have always been an Eddie fan, But he is the odd man out...forget Cave and Wade....get to the young guys. Hopefully Eddie lights it up first 1/2 the year and can be part of a trade deadline deal for a pitcher. and let one of the Kids take over. Not a Cave fan at all.......his D was terrible last year.....and if you are going cheap let one of the Kids get a start.........

    Even if they go to 150-160 that is Large % of the budget.......just don't see that ending well.....would rather see that money lock up our own guys (Berrios/Buxton)

    I Like Donaldson as a player, but I do not like this signing for the Twins. Committing 20+M to a 34 yr old 3rd baseman (Will be a DH by the end of the Contract) for a team with a payroll of 130-140M seems like a luxury.....need to spend the money to resign Berrios if we cannot attract FA pitchers we better keep what we have.

    can't think we are going to sign FA pitchers if we can't lock down our own.....find the number and get it done.....even #2 starter money......start @ something like 5 mill this year, 10 mil 2021, 15 2022, 15 2023, 18 2024........ 5 for 63....... even if year 5 a team option......

    first of all everyone HR's will be down next year....did yo not see the baseball in the postseason....so time to look for high ave on base hitters....I do like Eddie, but agree if they need to trade him get a pitcher that can help. No way the top Pitchers are coming to MN......so we need to go down the food chain.... I like the Wheeler thought..... I also like getting some of the young guys up..... But I think you need Garver in the lineup 125-135 games w that that bat....and that isn't going to be behind the plate.....so castro back on a deal is good, and astidillo or another C I am good with. Dump Cave....as an injury replacement up from AAA he is ok...but not worthy of a 26 man roster spot.
