    Having had an impinged hip and ultimately hip replacement, I think 1/2 is a high estimate. I can not imagine having to make quick starts and stops with hip issues.

    Disagree. That was a throw away line I expect from an owner (or politician). Let's assume he buys into a run at playoffs. This team is going against the ALEast, let alone the NL in a competition for championship/WS. Trade the pieces you have and go after '28 (after an abbreviated '27 season).
