Yanks sign Kenta Mazda to MiLB contract. https://www.si.com/mlb/yankees-sign-kenta-maeda-to-minor-league-contract If I understand DFA'd contract provisions correctly, who is on the hook for that $12,000,000? Yanks? https://www.spotrac.com/mlb/player/_/id/18451/kenta-maeda

Your title, where has the time gone I had that feeling when I looked up Pressley's stats: he is 37 years old. Good grief, where did the time go?

Plantar fasciitis is a horrible nag. Would be surprised if it doesn't revisit its wrath upon him.

Shop Atteberry for a small transistor radio and fresh batteries. Forget the batteries if they balk on the deal.

Thank you. This summarizes my feelings towards a CBO/GM who had 9 years to build a winner. He didn't yet remained around to blow up a yacht that failed to sail. Good thing he doesn't live in North Korea.

"The Angels have released first baseman and outfielder LaMonte Wade Jr....Wade performed even worse in Anaheim than he had been in San Francisco, posting a brutal 38 wRC+ as his plate discipline left him. He struck out in 31.5% of his 73 plate appearances with the Angels and walked at just an 8.5% clip." https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2025/08/angels-release-lamonte-wade-jr.html

Your air is too clean. We are hazed in again thanks to wildfires.

    Tell that to Perkins.
  24. Dave Borton
Perk offers good insight: "Maybe Sands won't be closer but will be used wherever the meat of the batting order appears."

Uecker often had a lot of dead air time. Atteberry has never met air time that didn't need to be filled.
