    man i hope you are right. He looks to me from afar that he has all the tools to be a valuable member of anybody's 25 man for sure. I understand the excitement and his versatility is really what got him the roster spot. Of course I wish him the best as well as I do for all the other guys!

    im just sayin....isnt that why Mejia, and later Magill are gonna be out there? The opener theory is alive in Minnesota too, we just haven't used it yet.

    I am super tired of everyone talking about this "opener" thing like it's a new innovative way to play, invented by Bill James or something. The #4, and number #5 starter for every team for the last 50 years has been an opener. The teams that win rings are the ones that either have a bullpen that's versatile, or a group of reliable starters that keep you in games a la Zack Greinke, Greg Maddox, and Yes, Jack Morris.

    And if you are right Yay! Im on your side! I just think he's got a ways to go before id crown him MVP this is for the same reason i despise the national media for never recognizing us. Im in Phoenix for cripes sake. the only twins news i get is here, espn, mlb.com or kfan on i heart radio.

    I love this team and thank you for the excellent report. I am sorry my brothers and sisters, i dont live in the Twin Cities anymore so i dont feel the Love for Astudillo. I hope Im wrong but when mlb scouting reports update, he is NOT going to hit .350 anymore. I am guessing he will wind up an ultra valuable sub, get clutch hits, hustle on every play, and be a valuable member of a really Really good team. To suggest he should start Anywhere is a tad far fetched. I love him, don't get me wrong, but he is not the next coming of Kirby Puckett. just sayin....

    Im sure they got the hint during the game but i did read that Berrios meant to primarily pitch "backwards" today. That means, if you didnt know, start em off with offspeed stuff and punch em out with the heater. He still had a darn nice outing.

    i dont mean to be disagreeable but I disagree. All these games are important. If you dont think so reference the 2018 Chicago Cubs. Or the 2009 Twins.

    i dont get to see any games live(i live in Phoenix) and by all national media reports the Phillies are on par with the'27 Yankees. I just wanna say "Way to Go guys!" We went in there and played really Really well. This is absolutely fun to watch. Peace out Family!

    i get it that Garver has options but so does Cave and Astudillo. From what i get from Rocco already sending Garver down at this point in his career can have nothing but a negative impact to his psyche. He has to feel like he has earned his spot on this team and frankly i would agree. The bigger decision is gonna come when Sano comes back and we have to carry 13 pitchers. I like this better than a AA bench. remember that?

    Hey Hey what can you say? I read an article from some Phillie Phanatic talkin bout how they should have no trouble bashing our pitching and they've never heard of anybody on our team except Joey Mauer. L.M.M.F.A.O. Those fools better LEARN! and start acquainting themselves with the Braves, Nationals and Mets cuz they may have a big fight just to get a wildcard.

    Bobby Wilson OMG! Thanks for reminding me. last year the Falvines did everything wrong. I dont know who they have been talking to(Tom Kelly, Andy McPhail, maybe Ralph Houk?) but this year its A-Ok

    I just think a little transparency would have helped especially last year. We are Minnesotans, we didnt hire you but you are running OUR team.(figuratively of course). Let us in on the plan and we will be all for it. To be so secretive is alarming and sort of arrogant. We are in this together. nuff said. Mr. Falvey you arent running for office, quit saying what you think we want to hear. You can run for President or CEO of the Red Sox in 2024.

    Look, Im tired of all this. We will show the world that our time is Now. If some of you wanna crown the Indians, then go ahead and do it. The truth is they arent even as good as the 2002-2010 Twins teams were. Who could ever lose to the CUBS in any World Series.

    Cleveland will be a factor all year, we know this. But at one point last year we were 7-2 against their throat grabbing team before we tanked the whole last two months. Listen, if we take care of business and beat up on the Royals, Tigers, White Sox(dang auto correct), and Yes, the Indians, we win the division by ten games. By the All Star break we go shopping.
