  1. Nice little stretch of 5 wins in last 6 games, so keep that rolling. But don't keep the second half of yesterday's game rolling. That looked like stumbling more than rolling.
  2. One needn't be an MD to know the anatomy. Similarly, I'm not a professional musician but I know how to tell the difference between a violin and a viola. (A viola burns longer.)
  3. The wrist begins where the forearm ends. The wrist ends where the hand begins. It consists of 8 bones. It's clearly defined anatomically. Forearm bones simply are not part of the wrist. The "wrist area" is very vague terminology. Could be from the elbow to the fingertips if that's how someone wants to define it.
  4. You win some, you lose some, you lose some you should have won, and you win some you should have lost.
  5. It should never have had to be that way.
  6. If he correctly calls a strike we'll know he needs to go through concussion protocol. (Apologies for the cheap shot.)
  7. Sometimes when the umpire screws up big time it benefits our team big time. Edit: this is bad for baseball. Robo umps now.
  8. Thielbar, bear down and get this guy.
  9. Perez had the ball, turned toward home plate and started walking to his position. Without calling time out.
  10. Just thought of something...is there any provision in the batter clock/pitch clock rule for the catcher calling time out?
  11. It would be no surprise to see that happen this season as well.
  12. Correlation is not causation, but Kep has heated up, Buck has heated up, and Miranda has heated up. Larnach leads the team in RBI, Gallo keeps hitting dingers (and a near-dinger tonight). Can't wait for Kirilloff to start hitting the ball around for us.
  13. Just. looked at Taylor's double. I don't know if I've ever seen that big of a brain cramp by that good of a player (Perez).
  14. Just now able to start watching. Can we play the Royals every game for the rest of the season?
  15. I think he's my least favorite of the BSN analysts.
  16. Reminds me of a cheer I once read about, apparently popular at a certain Virginia college: "We are the men of Norfolk! We neither smoke nor drink! Norfolk! Norfolk! Norfolk!"
  17. Never sad about an easy no-stress win.
  18. Yep, caught my mistake and edited but not soon enough.
  19. That 0-2 pitch was a strike earlier in the game.
  20. One of my favorites from back in those days was Bert "Behome" Blyleven.
  21. By "history" you must mean just a few games ago when LaTroy was announcing.
  22. This is probably just my own inference, but I think of a sweeper as a bigger but slower break, whereas I think of a slider as more of a late, sharper break.
