    No reason to keep trotting out Santana after this, yes he's owed alot of money still. But he's not going to regain that velocity. Need to give his starts to a young guy.

    Alot of the younger Twins fans have less respect for him imo. I was at a twins game last year sitting by two younger twins fans. One tells his friend that Joe Mauer used to be a catcher but he was only average. My wife told me she's never seen my head swivel so hard. But anyway, The Joe Mauer of old is in the past, he's not a bad guy to have on the team though. If Mauer wants to keep playing I bet they keep signing him, out of respect for who he is and what he's done. Kinda wish Mauer takes the high road and retires, just rip the band aid off. I don't want him playing for another team. He's a Minnesota Twin, end of story.

    Thats why Im not bothered by anything this FO is doing, this organization was in terrible shape when they took over. These things take time. Theyre trying to build a consistent competitive team with a constant pipeline of prospects that can keep coming up.

    Sano and Buxton are very talented, but honestly it's time to shift the plans away from them. If they turn it around, great. If not you need to steer the ship past them. I believe guys can be very successful at the majors through grit and hard work, and that's what it takes for all of these guys, talented or not. But some guys have it, and some dont. It happens.

    Apparently if you buy 3 red baron pizzas you get two free twins tickets.\ If any of the players want their families to attend the team will probably start serving that before games instead of catered meals.

    I’ll miss his shin guard unbuckling while being rung up on a strike. Lol jk I’ll miss these guys. I’ll never forget last years lead off home run against the Yankees and how fired up he was.

    Astudillo at 2nd? haha I like it. I like watching him, he looks like he's having fun. He seems to put good At-bats up there, so if that continues get him in the lineup.

    Eduardo is one twin that had a huge impression on me as a twins fan. About the time he came to the twins I got front row third base seats at coors field to watch the twins(back when Gardy was still around). Escobar was the only player that stood by us for what seemed like an hour doing autographs for everybody who wanted them, interacting with all the fans that he could. He’s a great person and a great professional, I’m proud to have him on this team and I want to see him be a twin in the future.

    LoMo made a nice play on that one, Don't know how he could get the error when Lynn fumbled his whole way through the play.

    Just when you think Grossman's gonna be a black hole he turns in a game.

    Some pitchers can really use being quick to their advantage. You set the pace, you control the tempo you keep rallies down. Look at how Buehrle used to handcuff the twins. I also think that helps in going deep into the ball game.

    God Rosario is such a gifted hitter.

    I think a pitcher will most likely be dealt, possibly Gibson because he's approaching long term deal territory with one year of Arbitration left. They have Pineda next year, Gonsalves needs a shot soon. As for other guys, I don't see any moves with position players unless someone really reaches for Dozier.

    Good hitting has a way of forcing the issue. I bet he's up later this summer. Would be perfect to get him going at the major league level before he's a starter next year.
