Minnesota may have an unexpected fan ahead of Sunday's World Cup Final.
Spanish superstar Lamine Yamal was recently spotted strolling through New York City wearing the Twins' light blue City Connect cap, and the video quickly went viral across social media. Naturally, Twins fans immediately began wondering if there was some hidden connection.

As far as anyone can tell, there isn't one.
Yamal has no known ties to the Twins, Minnesota, or the organization. The most likely explanation is simply that he liked the look of the cap, but it still provided some unexpected national exposure for the club.
The 19-year-old phenom will lead Spain against Lionel Messi and Argentina in the World Cup Final on Sunday at 2 p.m. CT. Whether the Twins hat was just a fashion choice or the beginning of baseball's newest international fan, Twins fans seemed more than happy to claim him.
