If his weight/conditioning is what's holding him down, it's not insane to hope for a bounce back, since one off-season of hard work (plus diligence after that) would be the main ingredient needed. More than 'hope', less than 'expect', I guess. Maybe Worley's feeble 2013 results will be the wakeup call to him that I choose to believe Swarzak's horseplay and broken rib was that led to the best season of his career.

We have a lot of iffy pitching options and I feel like at least one of those guys is going to step up and be in the rotation.

Agreed, I think he will definitely have every chance to win a spot as either the 4/5.
