Marek Houston has followed in Kaelen Culpepper's footsteps in 2026, producing at a high level at two different minor league affiliates. Now mashing at Double-A Wichita, Houston has put himself on the doorstep of St. Paul while leaping into industry top 100 prospect lists. When will we see him with the Twins?

Interesting timing. Since August 1 when Marek Houston went 2-5, he has gone 8-45. Houston has had a really good year but has hit the wall recently. Marek did quite a bit of work to address his swing last offseason. I suspect he will work on strength and flexibility this offseason as normal preparation for the 2027 season. Houston is likely to get his opportunity at AAA next April. How he performs at AAA will decide whether he gets a call next year or in 2028. Maybe the Twins are impressed by him in Spring Training.
