That ump (Porter) now soooooooo proud of himself. He gets to affect the game.

This is why umpires will no longer be needed once lockout is over with-robotic umpires coming soon!!!

I'd be curious how a robot calls that differently? It's a tough call, even if I do think it was a catch.

Balls and strikes I agree for the most part, even though having a human is what I'm very much used to

Porter (3B) was the one that had the out call.  It was Jim Wolf (1B) that had the trap call.  I'm not sure why Mackay at 2nd didn't have a more definitive view.  A bit unfair to say Porter gets to affect the game when he had the call the Twins wanted (and probably the correct call).

Well excuse me. And thank you. Absolutely. Wolf, then. I don’t mind being wrong on my listening.. in fact, I love being corrected and making it right. Porter is crew chief, though, and could have not wimped out and made his call the call on the field. Regardless, Karma brought the subsequent popout and made call insignificant and not affecting the game.

Unless there’s a camera looking straight down on the glove and chin there is absolutely no way of knowing if he was out or safe. Replay proves nothing

Looked out to me

Did to me as well.  Only hope was that NY had a makeup call in them for the close one on the trapped ball call.

I wonder if there was grass on the ball? It looked to me like it touched the grass.

Luke   bunt  ?   bench call  or his own ,  right move !

I know it worked out, but I don't like the move. Surprisingly, there is actually a higher run expectation with a runner on 2nd and nobody out then a runner on third with one out. Fangraphs says expected runs with a guy on 2nd nobody out at 1.12 and just 0.86 with a runner on third and 1 out.
