Remember last August when all the dfa fodder trotted through the mlb relief corp?

This is the cost of that decision.

Until this team starts to invest into the bullpen by actually signing good relievers and converting some of the starters to relievers, we’ll continue to watch more dfa fodder throw more slop.

now they haven’t tested enough minor league depth to feel comfortable with their starting lower depth and can’t yet afford to convert starters to relievers because there’s still 1,000 innings to pitch this season.

but next year it’ll be different I’m sure!
