LauraBeak Verified Member Posted October 3, 2025 Posted October 3, 2025 The thought has been nagging at me, too. I certainly wouldn't blame Buxton for wanting to bail. It's basically a permanent (for the foreseeable future, anyway) demotion to AAA-ball for him. The Twins have essentially become the Saints now. The Pohlads have gutted the team, and let's face it: Their chances for a ticket to a postseason are highly doubtful-to-none anytime soon, much less a serious bid for that golden ticket to the World Series! Do we really expect Buxton to hang out on the playground the remainder of his career merely dreaming about having that coveted ring on his finger? I sure don't! I'd lose respect for him if he did. What the Pohlads are doing to the Twins is a total shame and disgrace to *everyone* but the Pohlads. It's beginning to look A LOT similar to what's currently happening to our government, and if I were Buxton, I would be considering my other options NOW!
