My memory says Zack Jones got hurt. But there is several guys with similar names and to be honest I get confused. But my memory says Jones was hitting 100 on the radar guns and then was shut down for a while.

After last night, with Burton looking like an average guy and Duensing doing his failing imitation of a lefty-specialist, it is more than high time the Twins look at their bullpen soberly and with fresh eyes and start tinkering. It's not about this year anymore, so bring on some new arms and see what happens.

Tyler Jones, Cedar Rapids, got shut down for awhile. He throws 93-95 out of their bullpen.

Zach Jones: 13 Ks in 7.1 innings, pretty much sums it up.

 

Quick question: Neither Tonkin nor Jones has pitched since 6/23. Are they hurt or have they just not been needed?
