Watching Minnesota baseball in a Minnesota brewery should most certainly be accompanied by a Minnesota-based food truck inspired by Minnesota's melting pot: The Iron Range. Don't you agree?

We're all in luck, since the Deep Roots food truck will be at BlackStack Brewing this Thursday to satiate your hunger. A porketta sandwich or porketta nachos, mini pasties, and a wild rice chicken brat are just a few of the delicious-looking items we're eyeing from their menu. 

Deep Roots's founder, Jason, met his wife in college on the Iron Range in Hibbing, where he discovered a variety of new foods. The baskets they serve feature some of his favorite finds from that time! So, when asked what does "Deep Roots" mean? They say it is a nod to their favorite foods from their “Minnesota Iron Range Roots... Minnesota's Melting Pot!”

Years ago, and I won't say how many, I worked up in Hibbing in retail sales.  Great people and treated a Westerner(western MN) extremely well.
