We’re excited to team up with Brewer Fanatic for a dual-city celebration that brings baseball fans together in Minneapolis and Milwaukee for a full night of baseball, community, giveaways, and game-day energy. On Saturday, Twins fans in and around Milwaukee can join a watch party at Broken Bat Brewing, while Twins fans (and Brewers fans) in Minneapolis will be kicking off the night from 4-5:30 pm at Smorgie’s in Minneapolis – just blocks from the ballpark. In true Twins Daily Social Club style, our hometown gathering will have drink specials, giveaways, baseball conversation, and plenty of Twins Daily vibes throughout the afternoon, including chances to win one of the most popular collectibles in Twins Daily history: the exclusive 2026 Winter Meltdown pint glass. Fans can also enter raffles for Smorgie’s gift cards and other baseball-themed prizes during the event. Once the game begins, the festivities continue in Wisconsin with a full watch party at Broken Bat Brewing from 5:30–9 pm. Located in Milwaukee’s Walker’s Point neighborhood, Broken Bat Brewing will host Brewers and Twins fans alike for a lively watch party complete with giveaways (including the Winter Meltdown pint glass), contests, baseball talk throughout the evening, AND your first beer of the evening is free! Expect a fun-filled night of camaraderie and baseball excitement. If you joined us at Smorgie’s earlier this season for the Home Opener party, you already know how much fun these gatherings can be. The energy was incredible, and we cannot wait to do it again with the Brewers in town this weekend. While both parties promise packed game-day atmospheres and nonstop baseball conversation, one giveaway in particular is already creating buzz among Twins fans, as they'll have the chance to win exclusive 2026 Twins Daily Social Club Winter Meltdown pint glasses at both locations! The Twins Daily Winter Meltdown pint glass has become one of the most beloved traditions in the Twins Daily community over the years. Designed annually by Brock Beauchamp, each glass captures the mood, storylines, and emotions surrounding a particular Twins season – from playoff heartbreak and injury-riddled years to postseason breakthroughs and fan-favorite moments. What started as a fun giveaway at the original Winter Meltdown has evolved into a true collector’s item for dedicated Twins fans. The glasses are only available through Twins Daily events, making them a unique piece of Twins baseball history that fans look forward to every offseason. At both events, raffle giveaways will be front and center throughout the night. Twins fans will have opportunities to win the limited-edition Twins Daily Social Club Winter Meltdown pint glass – a must-have collectible for longtime Twins Daily supporters and Winter Meltdown attendees. The dual-city celebration begins in Minneapolis at Smorgie’s from 4–5:30 p.m. before the Twins and Brewers square off at Target Field. Then, once the game gets underway, the action shifts east to Milwaukee for a full watch party at Broken Bat Brewing from 5:30–9 p.m. Brewers and Twins fans alike are invited to settle in for the matchup while enjoying contests, prizes, baseball chatter, and one of the most unique baseball-themed brewery environments around. More than anything, the May 16 events are about bringing baseball fans together. Whether you are heading to the game in Minneapolis, watching from Milwaukee, or simply looking for a fun place to spend a Saturday night with fellow baseball fans, these parties are shaping up to be some of the most energetic fan gatherings of the season. After an electric Home Opener turnout earlier this season, the Twins Daily Social Club is teaming up with Brewer Fanatic to bring fans together for an afternoon packed with baseball energy and community - whether you’re in Minnesota or Wisconsin. If you’re in Minnesota, we will bring all the pregame fun and excitement to Smorgie’s in Minneapolis, giving Twins fans, Brewers fans, and anyone looking for a fun game-day atmosphere a place to rally before first pitch. Join us there from 4-5:30 pm for giveaways, conversation, and Smorgie’s is rolling out the red carpet with us with some big-time drink specials. First, just for this event, they’re extending Smorgie’s famous happy hour, which is 2-4-1 drinks! On top of that, there will be $5 Summit Twins Pilsener, Summit EPA, and Firestone Walker 805 Blonde. And it’s located just two blocks from Target Field! Or, if you’re a Twins fan living in Wisconsin, join us to watch the game at Broken Bat Brewing for our Twins Daily/Brewer Fanatic Watch Party! The brewery has developed a reputation as one of Milwaukee’s most baseball-centered hangouts. Local fans on Reddit (and John “Twins Geek” Bonnes) frequently recommend Broken Bat as one of the best places in the city to watch Brewers games thanks to its baseball theme, game-day atmosphere, and unique setting. Both events will also include giveaways and raffles for both Twins and Brewers fans, but we’ll give you those details tomorrow! But even better, no matter which location you go to, you’ll be able to share your passion for your team, enjoy some great refreshment, and build community. We’ll see you there! As you already know (and might have been there with us), we kicked off the 2026 season at home in unforgettable fashion with our Home Opener pregame party at Smorgie's on Friday – and what a day it turned out to be! Despite cold, blustery winds, a steady rain, and an unexpected power outage, you showed up in a big way. The turnout was incredible, and the energy inside Smorgie’s made it easy to forget about the weather outside. From the moment the doors opened, the space filled with familiar faces, new friends, and that unmistakable Home Opener buzz. A massive THANK YOU to everyone who showed up, battled the elements, and brought the energy all day long. Days like this only happen because of this incredible community, and once again, you all showed up in the best way possible and helped make the day incredibly fun. There is something special about reconnecting after a long offseason, and this event was a perfect reminder of what makes this community so great. Conversations bounced from offseason storylines to game predictions to gametime updates, all while we enjoyed great food, cold drinks, and a steady stream of giveaways. The excitement carried right through a power outage and into the walk over to Target Field, where the season officially came to life. Once inside the ballpark, it felt like baseball had truly returned. Seeing Twins Daily friends scattered throughout the stands, bundled up but smiling, brought everything full circle. Home Opener always has its own kind of magic, and sharing it with this group made it even better. And the game itself couldn’t have been a better payoff. Watching the Minnesota Twins pick up a Home Opener win at Target Field brought the energy full circle. It was the perfect ending to an already incredible day. If this is any indication of what is ahead, it’s going to be a fun season! Stay tuned for more Twins Daily Social Club watch parties and events throughout the year. And as always, we’ll see you at the park! View full article

The Twins Daily Social Club is kicking off the 2026 season the right way – with a Home Opener pregame party you won’t want to miss. As the Twins get set to face the Rays at Target Field this Friday, we’re gathering at Smorgie’s beforehand to celebrate the return of baseball… and we’re bringing some serious perks with us. Let’s start with the big one: we’ll be randomly giving away 50 Winter Meltdown pint glasses. If you’re one of the lucky winners, you’ll receive a ticket to return to Smorgie’s after the game to pick up your glass (since outside pint glasses aren’t permitted inside Target Field). If you’ve been to a Meltdown before, you know these glasses have become a fan-favorite collectible. And if you haven’t, this is your chance to lock one in – it’s the perfect addition to your game day rotation (or your shelf of Twins memorabilia). And here’s another reason to get there early: from 12:30 - 2 pm, Smorgie’s will be featuring $5 beers from BlackStack Brewing, including Local 755 Hazy IPA and Slopes French Pilsner. It’s a perfect pregame pairing – great local beer at a great price while you settle in with fellow fans. You know it wouldn’t be a Twins Daily event without great food, drinks, and conversation. Smorgie’s delivers on all fronts with a menu built for game day – think cheese curds, wings, loaded totchos, smash burgers, and fried chicken sandwiches. It’s easy, shareable comfort food that pairs perfectly with a cold drink before heading to the ballpark. So grab your friends, throw on your Twins gear, and head to Smorgie’s early. Come for the pregame, stay for the prizes, then let’s walk over to the ballpark, ready for a brand new season! EVENT DETAILS What: Home Opener Pre-Game Party Cost: Free When: 12:30 - 2 pm, April 3, 2026 Where: Smorgie’s, 508 N 1st Ave, Mpls View full article

Opening Day is always about possibility: a fresh start, a clean slate, and the belief that anything can happen. This year, the Twins Daily Social Club is adding even more excitement to that feeling with a giveaway that keeps the celebration going beyond March. At our Opening Day Watch Party at BlackStack Brewing, one lucky fan will walk away with a pair of tickets to see the Minnesota Twins Home Opener at Target Field. That’s right – while we gather to watch the Twins kick off the season against the Baltimore Orioles, you’ll also have a shot at being there in person when the Twins return home to take on the Tampa Bay Rays for their first game of the season at Target Field on April 3. All you need to do to get in on the action is RSVP and show up. Throughout the watch party, we’ll be running games and handing out raffle entries, giving you multiple chances to win. We will draw names at key moments – first pitch, final out, and throughout the game – so there is always something happening beyond the action on the screen. It is all part of what makes a Twins Daily watch party different. You’re not just watching the game, you’re part of it. Every inning brings a new chance to win, every big play brings the room to life, and every fan in the building shares in the energy of Opening Day. And then there’s the grand prize: a chance to be at Target Field for the Home Opener to get a first look at the Twins on their home field in 2026. It’s one of the best days on the baseball calendar, and you could be there. So grab your spot, bring your friends, and get ready for a full afternoon of baseball, beer, and big moments. Opening Day starts at BlackStack. And if things break your way, your next stop for a live game might just be Target Field. Opening Day is about fresh starts, renewed hope, and finding your people again after a long offseason. This year, the Twins Daily Social Club is adding something a little extra to that tradition: a keepsake fans will be raising all season long. Every attendee at our Opening Day Watch Party at BlackStack Brewing will receive a free 2026 Winter Meltdown pint glass. If you’ve been to a Meltdown before, you already know: these aren’t just pint glasses. They’re part of the experience. They end up on shelves, in cabinets, and back in your hand on game days—a small but meaningful piece of Twins Daily history. And this year’s design is no exception, created by the incredibly talented Brock Beauchamp, whose work once again brings personality and creativity to a fan-favorite collectible. So how did a Winter Meltdown glass become an Opening Day giveaway? When this year’s Winter Meltdown was unexpectedly canceled, it left us with a stash of these freshly designed glasses. Rather than let them sit, we figured there was no better place for them than in the hands of Twins fans on Opening Day. All you need to do to claim yours is RSVP on Eventbrite ahead of the event. Once you check in at the watch party, your glass is yours. You’ll be raising it with fresh pours from BlackStack, surrounded by fellow fans as the Minnesota Twins open the season against the Baltimore Orioles. So grab your glass, fill it up, and find your spot in the crowd. Share a drink, swap some stories, and settle in for the start of something new. A new season is here. And now, you’ve got the perfect glass for it. BlackStack isn’t just a brewery. It is a space that feels purpose-built for moments like this. Located in St. Paul’s Midway neighborhood, the taproom sits inside the historic American Can Company building – a late-1800s industrial giant that once produced billions of cans before being reimagined into something entirely new. Today, that same space has been transformed into what the brewery calls an “industrial cathedral-meets-modern museum,” blending exposed brick, towering ceilings, and natural light into one of the most unique drinking environments in the Twin Cities. Oh, and a 190" TV to watch baseball. Reserve your spot to find out for yourself next Thursday! Founded in 2017, BlackStack Brewing is a family-run operation built on collaboration, creativity, and a commitment to quality. From hop-forward IPAs to lagers and fruited sours, their beer program has earned a devoted following across Minnesota, driven by a philosophy emphasizing “no shortcuts” and constant innovation. But what truly sets BlackStack apart, and what makes it such a natural fit for a Twins Daily event, is the atmosphere. This is not a place where you show up, grab a drink, and leave. It is a place where you settle in, socialize with your neighbors, and watch the Twins end our baseball drought with a win. It's a place built for gathering. So, let's do this! When the Minnesota Twins take on the Baltimore Orioles to kick off the 2026 season, we'll gather in a great space, cheer a first pitch, react with every big swing, and maybe even find some optimism for this new season. (Or at least find some good beer over which to commiserate.) And that’s exactly what Opening Day should be. A new season. A packed taproom. A community that cares about every pitch. Let's do this!
