drjim Provisional Member Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Kepler bomb. He is going to be a monster.
TNTwinsFan Verified Member Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 In the 8th, Kepler smashed the go ahead homer to put the Kernels up 6-4. For Kepler, his first home run as a Kernel and 5 of his first 7 hits have gone for extra bases. The long ball was also just the 2nd off the season hit off of Bees reliever Joey Krehbiel. 5 of 7 went for XBs....very impressive! Keep it up fellow son of Germany!
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Buxton batting leadoff in his debut, already 1-2.
kab21 Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 I think kepler was unfairly dropped because he started the season late. He was in my top ten before the season and that didn't change regardless of the hot starts of Polanco, Walker, Vargas, etc...
adjacent Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Anybody knows what happened to Darnell? I can see in gameday that he was lifted in the third after 2 walks in a row with 2 outs, but at that point the game was only 0-1.
Jason Provisional Member Posted June 26, 2013 Author Posted June 26, 2013 Josh Whetzel @JoshWhetzelAfter walking 2 w/ 2 out in 3rd Darnell is pulled with apparent injury. May have been blister situation. Wings trail 1-0. Perdomo now in.
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Hicksie hits the ground running...3/4 w/ a double...nice to see no signs of rust in his swing and no apparent impediment in his running abilities.
