... DFA'd by the D-Backs. Would you take a chance on him? I think I would. He can be had for next to nothing.  As can other prospects from the past few years that haven't panned out -- Trent Grisham (might be DFA by SD), and Dylan Carlson. 

Worth a shot or washed like the dishes?

Dylan Carlson could be a good idea but I wouldn't trade much for him, maybe Cole Sands. Kyle Lewis is still a guy that could bounce, but he is more of a minor league deal similar to what the Twins gave Garlick last season. Trent Grisham .... forget it.
