For the first round of games, Ober should not be on the 26 man roster, only because he will not start the first 3 games, and he should not be a top guy out of pen.  We can add him to second series if we make it there.  I personally do not think he will make any starts in playoffs, baring injures from others.  He may be used for a long relief person but we really hope that is not needed.  If Ryan is healthy no reason the rotation first round is not Lopez, Gray, and either Ryan or Maeda, and if in second round if we went three games the one that did not start in first round then back to top.  I would want 1 emergency long relief guy of one of our current 6 starters, the other should not be on playoff roster in my opinion.

I like Ober and think he is a fine pitcher, but he is pitching more than he ever has and had some struggles of late.  All it takes is one bad inning and we lose a post season game.

I agree. I'd change that part of my plan. At this point, Keuchel might be in the bullpen..... We'll see

Keuchel was in the pen this afternoon and pitched great. Not impressed at all with Floro. Winder can't go in high leverage situations...especially with Cleveland coming to town. Jax is not pitching well. So some changes in the staff are warranted for sure.

Taylor...certainly not as good defensively as Buck would be...but Buck isn't going to be out there and he also isn;t hitting any better than Taylor..so there really isn't a spot for Buck honestly, if all he can do is DH.

When AK returns, it may be a risk to see if he can regain his stroke. Gordon and Miranda won't be a factor. I can't see Twins allowing Gallo to play in post season if he is still around (which he probably will be) When 1 of every 2 official AB;s are k's, you are wasting a spot in the lineup with him. Correa is still killing rallies with GIDP's, but he will play everyday somewhere in the lineup.

And while the DP's are frustrating, so are the double digit k's just about every game. In spite of it all Twins have a 6 game lead heading into the Cleveland series. They have to not get swept to give us all hope that this team will win the Central this season.
