Kendel Verified Member Posted November 2, 2022 Posted November 2, 2022 How big of a bonus would it take, to get Correa for another year? It seems like Scott Boras likes record setting deals. A $5,000,000 thank you for exercising his 2023 option, would garner Carlos $40.5 mill. It would make him MLB’s highest paid non pitcher. He would still be a free agent in his prime years next offseason. The shortstop free agent market might be less crowded next year. And let’s just say $110,500,000 total guaranteed from the Twins, is a pretty solid safety net. Is there any teeny tiny chance for a deal?
