I think Sanchez's pimp job made Gordon think it was at least off the wall if not gone. Sanchez looked like he thought he got it. Still unacceptable on Gordon's part. Shoot, you have a chance to score from 2 on a tag with Springer hitting the wall and not having the best arm in the world.

I was thinking when that ball was hit Gordon may be able to score from 2nd on a sac fly there.

Why not leave him in until he shows he is struggling? Short leash on him, but let him pitch.

He did give up three hits in the fourth, including a long homer.

[glunn]

That was a key insurance run from Larnach.

[CRF]

Larnach continues to show that he belongs up here and play everyday.

[glunn]

The baserunning today has been less than optimal.

JFC. Stop running on one of the best OF arms in the league

[rwilfong86]

Seriously, another base running blunder? You've gotta be kidding me.

I can't remember the last time I saw a team kill 3 rallies with base running blunders in one game.

Can't understand why they pulled Jax after a less than 10 pitch inning

[Aggies7]

So does rocco use Duran for 2 innings of a 4 run game?

It would have made more sense to bring Jax out to start the 7th and Smith in if he got into trouble

[CRF]

This game ain't over just yet.

[wsnydes]

Good thing Larnach tacked one on last half inning.

[rwilfong86]

Aaaaand now 6-3.

[Aggies7]

Joe smith has turned into a pumpkin

No joke. This game may be tied fast.

[CRF]

Smith has really digressed. Over use maybe?

[Aggies7]

Lots of looooooud contact off of smith these days

He’s almost 40 years old and because our manager takes his cues from excel, he gets overused

[rwilfong86]

That could have been worse, I wonder who pitches the 8th or if they bring in Duran to try to get 6 outs?

[glunn]

Another insurance run, please.

[Doctor Gast]

I think Smith might be over used and over seen. The hitters are used to him

[PDX Twin]

I fear the Duff in the 8th...

[Puckett34]

Luis Arraez

[Doctor Gast]

I don't get Sanchez is batting 2nd he belongs around #6

[rwilfong86]

4/4 day!

[wsnydes]

Ho hum... just another hit for Arraez.

I'll take 4 hit days all day long.

Right.  He goes half way and he's scoring on that ball anyway.  No need to round 3B.

I would assume we had a third base coach? Or is he Covid/AAA coach as well??‍♂️
