cmathewson Provisional Member Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 1. I disagree on Hicks. I see no reason he should have been rested four times in the first 13 games. He needs to play, every day, wherever he is. 2. I don't like it when the Twins play with a short bench any more than you. I've called them out for it many times in the past. I don't think that's the case here, and there's plenty of evidence for that position. As others have said, I would agree with this approach in most cases. But he was pressing so bad, it was clear the pressure was messing with his head. At least to have the option to do extra work in the cage with Bruno and take the night off from the pressure cooker would have been nice. The Mastro injury made that impossible.
IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Oh no! The Twins called up Arcia and then had a rain-out followed by an off day. They just wasted two days of service time! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! Fire Ryan! Fire Gardenhire! Fire Vavra (just because...)!
