First Lineup of the Spring

Looks like this will be the lineup for ST Game 1 tomorrow. Interesting to note that Martin is listed as the 2nd SS for tomorrow.

Gordon at short is quite the surprise

Gordon and Martin at short is very interesting. With all the starting SS and SP talk it has been kind of flying under the radar that they do not really have a backup SS either. Are they back tracking on Gordon not being good enough at SS? Between him and Urshella that could solve that problem easily.

Martin maybe even more intriguing. You would think they would be more interested in seeing Beckham at short given he has played SS in the majors. On top of that there has been plenty of chatter surrounding where he can play defensively. 

I am definitely reading too far into a spring training lineup...but who cares baseball is back!
